Jim, thank you for explaining how the race was structured. I have never raced before, just built a home track and want to start a local club. I am struggling to find information about how clubs manage a race. I am sure there are lots of ways, but I am not finding any info. This really helps. I love the Can-Am cars!
When you said the race lasted 18 minutes, I am assuming there were 6 three minute heats, with the drivers rotating through the 6 lanes at the end of each heat.
Are you aware that the driver in your orange car isn't paying attention to the road? Looks like a great hobby, but it involves far more concentration than I am capable.
Nice job Rick J !

Hi jim, were all competitors using same tyres? Ie oil soaked rubber, or silicones?
Rubber only. I think most ran NSR or Thunderslot tires. I used NSR 5206 treated with NSR oil.
Is that a 1:32 track or a 1:24?
You can run both on it. This race was for 1/32.
Was that 5.9 a track record? Because that leader board you showed for a moment only had 6.x times…
5.9 was in practice, fast time in the race was 6.2
