well, while he wasnt much of an inventor (although he was interested in engineering) he did put the money up for all that R&D. if it was me, id put my name on inventions i paid for
Thank you for the historical video. We need inventors to create things and improve quality of life.looking forward to more creative topics on video. Interesting on upon ERNIE and its creation. Thanks .
I remember back in 1997 when my parents got our first compaq computer and it had the compaq phone center which was basically a speaker phone inside the hard drive. We hardly used it though.
You know what I often miss saying "Hello, who is it?" when the non-caller ID phone would ring, we would fight to be the first one to answer it, even if we knew it wasn't for any of us. But I always hated when one of us kids would answer the phone and it would be for one of us and my mom would ask "Who is it?" I don't know why that always bugged me. I would always have thought "I mean if the call isn't for you and I am still on the phone then maybe don't worry about it?!" I know, I know... I was a kid.
I worked for ma bell as a technician and this is a fascinating industry with many benefits to the public!!!!!
Feels like i am watching 1990's movie
I used to call my friends on the Western Electric 554 rotary dial phone. Best phone ever.
No one mentions Tivadar Puskas, hungarian scientist who invented the telephone exchange and revolutionized telecommunications
Edison was not so much an inventor as an appropriator of other people's ideas

Civilization can disappear or be repeated. The only way to stop it is stubbornness.

The inventor was the Italian Meucci omg this is blasphemy!
Unfortunately, every invention has to be considered for a military application.
Very cool and fun!
