Agreed. Waukee is growing like mad. It is the place to be if you are young and raising a family. I live nearby and am retired. I shop in Waukee every day.
This video should have said top DesMoines suburbs to live in. If you want to venture outside of DesMoines there are some great cities like Cedar Falls, Davenport/Bettendorf, and Dubuque.
Ditch the computer narrator and use real voices. Even current AI voices sound more natural than what I'm hearing here. ISU did not "develop the atomic bomb." It does include a Department of Energy lab. Waukee is pronounced WawKEE.

You just named the most uppity 9 places to live in Iowa. Des moines is the only place you mentioned that the people are real. The other 9 have developed from the richer people that have moved here from other areas. The areas are nice but the people tend to think they are better the others and the schools will pay families to move if they have children that Excell in sports. And they ALL surround Des moines.
@@juliegambrall5078 clearly you must be thinking of Davenport. Because that could be closer to the truth. But at least davenport does have growth. Over on the Illinois side you have rock island Moline and East Moline. We haven't done any brick or stonework on any new homes on that side of the river. Because they are not growing. Bettendorf overtook ri and now working on overtaking Moline soon in population leaving us at number 2 in the metro area. That alone shuts down that argument of yours.

You didn't cover Iowa, you told about Des Moines and its suburbs... How about covering the best part or rest of the state.
Dubuque Iowa

You're just jealous the dsm metro is the best area
If you HAVE to move to Iowa... stay away from Oskaloosa.
Burlington, Iowa is also a dangerous town.

Are you serious? It's become as trashed as Illinois any more.
@@juliegambrall5078 that's funny since they are building multi million dollar homes out along Hopewell Ave.

Haha. Great comment.
Iowa City? Duh..... anything east of Des Moines must really suck.
Very disappointed with Iowa. Just dirty, dust, bad job opportunity and most of all you are not paid well for your work! I am running back south
Our Republican Governor no longer supports our 3 state colleges. UNI's tuition is now up to $900,000 a year.
