Sometimes I super-jumped with Charging Mega Buster in the mid-air to make or force opponent staying, blocking, or super-jumping. My main team, always, is Mega Man (Mega Buster), Boneclaw Wolverine (Slide Claw), and Ryu (Shoryuken). Sometimes replace Ryu's antiair with Cable or Akuma.
This game and style of Game is forever a Gem.. I Remember buying it used for the PS2 Used at GameStop for 60 before new games started going for that price

No joke Megaman is in my main lineup. Strider is my number 1 option and Megaman at the 2 for charging super and being annoying, Ken the anchor usually comes in with a full 7 meters. No scaling on his tatsu and fast shoryureppa makes punishing ill advised launchers and finishing off the opponent easier. It helps too that people underestimate Megaman in a world where everyone plays a combination of either Magneto, Storm, Sentinel, Cable, Psylocke, and Commando
I washed a bunch of Sentinel players at a local tournament using Megaman. He, Jin, and Colossus have a certain kit that just cuts through the bullshit. But by far my favorite thing is starting a match against a confident Magneto, and Immediately throwing a light punch into launcher and removing 1/3 of his health, then landing and calling in the Rock Ball power-up to further ruin his day. It doesn't do much damage but it interrupts Everything.
Can someone correct me here? Wouldn't the E-M Disruptor beat out all the Mega Buster spam? I haven't played since the Dreamcast days, but I swear beams pierced projectiles and Disruptor is wide enough to cover most of the spam. Am I wrong or would that strategy have been completely unsafe considering the other factors?
My team I usually play with is Megaman, Captain Commando, and Tron/Doom. Definitely is a dirty no execution team that will frustrate whoever you play 😂
