I understand people talking about cultural beauty standards. But beauty is not subjective. It's a mixture of objectivity and subjectivity. Sure, Monica Bellucci may not be the most beautiful in every culture (this is the subjective part to beauty), but she would still be considered beautiful in most, if not all, cultures (this is the objective part to beauty).
On average, people, regardless of culture, can tell who is or isn't good looking, even babies can tell (objective part to beauty), but deciding on who's the most beautiful is dependant on the individual/culture (subjective part to beauty).
I completely agree! I think culture plays a huge factor when it comes to preference when it comes to beauty, most people have a preference for certain "types" but tend to agree that someone looks good, even it they don't fit into their personal preferences

All of us have different personal preferences but Beauty is also objective like we can see and agree if someone is good looking or not regardless if our personal type and cultures that's why scientific studies about beauty exist. The whole foundation of it like such things as proper facial bone structures, symmetry, facial harmony and etc are biologically and we, humans can see it as a visual beings.

She pays a lot of attention to even the way she moves her own mouth. When she uses “o” she leaves her mouth open in an o shape after. She tilts her chin down and looks up at the person as if she is a little kid looking up to their parent and talking. Intentional innocence! She takes herself very seriously also and when you see a face so serious but yet so animated it draws a person in through confusion. Yes her structure is great but I see there is more to it than just the mathematics of her face! 😊

Excellent observation. The mathematics of beauty do matter, but they're only half the equation. There are other, heck there are many women out there who have features, proportions as good or maybe even better than hers, but they don't show them as well because they haven't developed that inner charm.
That inner charm itself by the way is partly innate but can also be learned. I think Monica took really good advantage of her training in modeling. She has poise, she has grace and elegance. That's a big part of attractiveness, and the good news is that anybody can develop them.

I’m going to be honest when I first heard she was called the most beautiful woman in the world, I didn’t get it. It’s not because she isn’t a highly attractive woman because obviously she is but because she isn’t the most striking person I ever saw. There are other women that at first glance when I saw them they were very striking but after awhile they didn’t have the same affect as when I first saw them.
However Monica is a slow burn, her beauty is something I feel like I had to grow into and it’s like a painting that the longer I look at her the more I appreciate her beauty. I do think she has very soft and feminine features and something about her look especially her eyes makes her look so sad and fragile. However I still don’t like calling one women the most beautiful women of all time, I think she is definitely one of the most beautiful women among many others.

Yay, thanks for making a video on this! I've always found Monica so beautiful, sultry and yet classical. Her face is so harmonious and she gets more beautiful the more you look at her however, I feel her styling didn't fulfill her full potential especially makeup wise. To me, her and Adriana Lima are like yin and yang. Adriana the yang, more striking, 'bombshell' and not as harmonious and Monica the yin, a softer, more harmonious beauty that's refined and thought provoking. And yet both are absolutely gorgeous regardless.

She doesn't refuses it, she said that she doesn't feel the need for plastic surgery (when she was 50), but that she has no problem with it and that who knows she might have some later if she wants to. For now tho, she is completely natural and it seems like it will always be the case.

I think that really depends on whether someone is taking care of themself. 90% of people aren't and from their late twenties onwards both men and women need to, whereas you can get away with it when you're younger. When people are taking care of themselves, however, I find the ages between 30 and 36 the most attractive. In her time, she was considered an unconventional beauty and she changed the beauty standards at her peak during the golden era of Hollywood. Today, she's still considered as one of the most beautiful women that have ever graced the screen.
Also, Ava Gardner is another face I'm fascinated with.. she's considered as one of the, if not, the most beautiful face among old Hollywood stars. I recall reading about a renowned male photographer (I forgot his name) saying that her face is the most photogenic and beautiful he's ever shot. In my eyes, something about her beauty also has a classical harmony slightly akin to Monica's, but at the same time, she looks a bit more striking with more prominent projection in the peaks of the lines, curves, angles, and contours of her face when viewed from different angles.. she's also simultaneously a bit lusher with a more mature look, with fuller facial features and facial flesh, and also sharper/more angular/more prominent bone structure than Monica's sleeker, more refined bone structure, whose proportions look more "moderate", classic, and "refined"/streamlined than Ava.

If this channel teaches us anything, is that beauty is NOT in the eye of the beholder. It's absolutely ridiculous you think the most beautiful woman in the world has a mouth the width of her nose.
