The stop that’s an hour wait is absolutely worth it and such a good price. They’re packed everyday, even now in the cold. So if you make the trip be prepared to wait.
I think NY NOODLE town makes better BBQ cuts. That place was good bc it used to be dirty cheap and stuffed to the rim.. like $2 for that aluminum foil tray with more meat. I miss that OG butcher there.
Do they have any bats to eat there ?
@@Turtlemilkur funny 😑
What's the exact address

I grew up in NYC.
My go-to as a kid was always roast duck and roast pork on white rice at this place called Big Wong on Mott Street off of Canal.
Back in those days it was $3.50. Nowadays it’s $9.
But every time I go back home, which is often, I always stop by there for it.
Stills tastes exactly like it did 25 years ago.
And it always puts a smile on my face! 😊
Bro You are originally from India/Bharat🇮🇳! When your father moved to NYC ? Was he Engineer from IIT ?
my parents would bring home roast duck and pork from big wong every week for dinner! now whenever I visit NYC I grab some too
Big Wong is LEGIT. The only thing about it that has changed in the last 35 years is the price 😢
Omg the rose lychee flavour is my fave at the ice cream factory!
i could listen to this gorgeous woman talk about good food for days that voice is soo soothing 💕
Food always tastes better when it’s made in a sweatshop. 😃
Love every single one of your vids ❤ you’re so creative and kind. Please don’t stop!
All that food looks amazing 😍
Looks delicious but the most impressive part is that everything was reasonably priced! Those roasted pork buns tho!
Glad you love the fujian wonton. My favorite is the peanut noodle and fried taro cake and fried dough. Need to visit Chinatown Ny this month miss it so much.
U r my love when u said durian is yumm
The amount of food for those prices in New York you can’t beat that.
Oh wah Fung #1 is Awesome!! The Duck is the best.!! Thin pancake with hoisin sauce.!! Now I have to go
Everything looks so good 👍. Happy new year everyone.
Grew up going to Wah Fung and Mei Lai Wah and went all the time when I came back to New York after college. Thanks to all these social media people the lines are out of control and the locals never go anymore, completely ruined something special that the community had. Recently spoke to the owner of a restaurant next to Wah Fung who was telling me about horrible interactions with unappreciative tourists and people trying to film everything. Such a shame.
Yep and it’s not like the increased business at Wah Fung helps the other small businesses around it. Immigrant Chinese-owned businesses that have been open for many years on the same block are still closing. This trend of only going to tiktok- famous places to eat is not only really annoying, it’s negatively affecting people’s livelihoods.
Oh I’m def saving this. The food looks so delicious and it’s so affordable!!
Not the slice of pizza being 9 dollars wow he food looks so good regardless 😭😭😭🥺🥺
It’s because it’s the airport. All the food in the airport is high for no reason. Most dollar slices are only like 2 or 3 dollars in the city with inflation.
@@SamIamNot13in Bklyn it's $1.50
@@SamIamNot13 it’s high because they can make it like that for money. They don’t allow certain food and drinks through security and stuff so prices are high like movie theaters where everything is like 2-3 times more expensive. Well it’s not because they can it’s mainly cause of their high rent prices and stuff to be able to operate within an airport which definitely does not lack people so I would say operating cost
@@nicolemonrue I was just in NY Saturday and my slice of cheese pizza was $6. I guess $1.50 is in the hood of Brooklyn.
@@ABrooksCupidI've never been anywhere except Manhattan where they charge prices like that and even then there were a couples spots selling slices for not even half the price.
Now those wontons look ❤️🔥
i love chinese food it’s so good! definitely one of the top tier foods. i’m proud to have chinese roots
Absolutely loved Chinatown when I went
nyc has the best boba!
NYC boba is trash 😂
@@田桃-c7g where do you get it😭😭 the boba near me is amazing
Im going to Chinatown tomorrow. I love Chinatown in flushing NY. 🤷🏾♀️❣️
LOOKS REALLY GOOD
Love this. When you come back. You gotta do Flushing Chinatown.
Looks so good🥺 supporting all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
Hey my fellow South African!🇿🇦❤️
@@thandisilec835 heeey☺
OMG I really can't wait to come to New York City that food looks so delicious 🤤🤤😋
You did well eating all that girl🏴
Thanks for the restaurant suggestions, I'm going to try those places. I've been to the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory. That's the place I don't have trouble finding.😊
Glad to know the prices remain reasonable. In Toronto the 6ix, we have sticker shock on all prices, ranging from $10 wonton noodle soup, and $9.75 for a bowl of BBQ pork rice. That is roughly $7 USD. They went as little as $5.99 a year ago.
Those pork buns! I'm drooling!!!
Wink, wink
Does anyone know the font she uses for listing menu prices/items?
You are a true foodie! You would love Portland and Bangkok
Mei Lai Wah one of my favorites in Chinatown
Pork fried Bao omg
Wow! Thank you for sharing your experience in China Town NYC!! Your thoughtfulness for sharing the love for food is definitely appreciated... You are super-duper Awesome 😁👍
My bucket list. Thanks for showing us
I lived on Canal St in Chinatown across the street was a Bakery l would get Pork Buns and Shrimp dumplings for breakfast.Eat lomein and chicken wings on the street truck.Go to Hong Fat on mott st.
get Peking Pork chops and pork dumplings. Roast Noodle soups. It was crowded noisy, smelly but worth
it for the food.!!!
I’m Asian and I love durian ( but some asian does not like it but it’s me not you or other people) but where I live we don’t have fresh durian so we have to eat the frozen box one but it was still good you’re so lucky to eat the fresh one tho
What do u mean by “since im asian”? Asia is a diverse continent in which most people don’t even know a fruit like durian even exists let alone tasted it.
I love durian too!
Looks so so so delicious
Those durians are bussssiinnnggg.
I go here all the time specially for the duck, pork and pork buns
nyc have many china towns Queens brooklyn Manhattan ✨️ plus plus plus
I’m Fuzhounese and to see our food featured makes me SO HAPPY
Wo Hop is one of my favorite places. Right across the street is a Dumpling house which is excellent!!!!
Wah fung is delicious! Great recommendations.
Dude everyone says New York is too expensive but I live in Wisconsin and I can’t buy a fast food meal for under 12 bucks. The prices in China town NYC are super good! I’d love to have a place like this to go to where I can get delicious food for a few bucks. There’s none of that here as far as I know. Looks amazing
I definitely need to visit China town in NYC.
Best food PORN on the internet EVER!
I've had wau-fong with my Twainese friend years back was Soo good delicious like buttered and glazed up bacon meat with chicken taste mixed it I couldn't get enough😋😋
Sweetie you had me at peanut noodles or peanut butter noodles or whatever it is I absolutely love that kind of sauce I wish I can get all the good things that I saw you eat where I live I just want to try new things and see what it tastes like and every time I see things like this on here I just want to try it's kind of like a bucket list for me I'm a big foodie
I'm so jealous of people who have such a healthy appetite they can try various foods like this within the same day! 😍
An hour for Wah Fung is crazy. I remember when it used to be 5 minute wait.
Never waited an hour for food. I think the longest I have ever waited was about 45 minutes, 25 minutes to be seated and 20 minutes for the food. An hour+ for takeout is crazy
I love Chinatown! ❤❤❤❤
When I see you eating the noodles😋😋..
I get sooo jealous💚💚😄😊
That Duck looks amazing 😍
I’m so happy I live in New York, I am planning to try the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory. And this summer I would like to try durian
EVERYTHING LOOKED DELICIOUS...EVEN THAT STINKY-FRUIT.
Thanks J. This such as helpful tip
That airplane toilet was bussin😂
Watching this is making me Hungry for Chinese. Won Ton Noodle Soup, Um Yummy.
Roast duck looks delicious
I could not find good food on my own there. Thank you. I was literally asking people and they’d look at me crazy 😂
I agree. I need a Chinese friend to help me out in Chinatown. I wouldn't know where to go or what to buy.
to felciaa - I agree that Chinatown NY is a health hazard with rats all over
@@gloriaf6971
dont waste money in Chinatown NY its infested with rats
You did well! My cousin and I have an eating day planned for the end of the month in Chinatown.
Hell yeah!!! Chinatown FTW!
Food looks delicious
I love durian!! 🤍
As a local NY’er, all those places good spots. Many locals go to the same spots.
Some great spots in Flushing in Queens as well Roosevelt and Main is where you go.
Never thought I'd hear "tastes like a rich and creamy custard" and "durian" in one sentence 💀
i mean, in china it’s very popular to include durian into desserts like mochi ice cream! it’s still not for me, but i can eat a little compared to actual durian
I think that's an accurate description though, the texture is definitely custard-like. However the taste is quite... unique (personally I hate it 💀)
'm not sure what custard tastes like but durian is indeed rich and creamy
I love it! I grew up eating as well so I don’t really pick up on the smell, but I’ve had durian flavored things and they always gotta make it stinky 😭
It’s like a strongly flavoured floral custardy peary banana kinda is how I’ve always described it kinda like a jackfruit but stronger and less fruity
Thar looks Amazing 👏
My goodness that look fire 🔥
The best of it
I love durian 😍😍
Good eats🍝🗽
That's enough food for 3 days. Very healthy also!!!
Ima go there n try the roast duck cause I never ate duck before
That bathroom during the flight regrets this vlog
As a Chinese, Chinatown always hits hard with food
I go to this video game cafe called OS NYC in Chinatown and I always pass by the first place you went to. The line is always so long which is why I never tried the food but hopefully one day 🥹 when you said family on the east coast I was hoping it was NYC !!
I’m on my way to two of these right now before I leave New York soon wee ate duck before so it has to be tasted
Roast pork bun looks yummy
all of these are so good
All that good shit for THOSE PRICES, man I thought NYC was as expensive as LA. Might have to actually go lmao
Looks good
thats a good trip
I WILL comment about that durian cart!!!!! 😍😍
Who could hate durian. It's awesome
that $9 slice of pizza is giving me heart burn and I didn't even eat it
airport prices are always inflated
I love Durian too
Sounds good aff
Dang, I’m surprised you still had room to eat at JFK 😂
That’s a lot of eating
Dang, I went to wah fung a few times but luckily didn’t have to ever wait an hour. I agree though, 1 hr wait is still worth it. There’s always a line there.
I’d probably save the pizza for Brooklyn the king of NY pizza or Scarrs pizza. Scarrs is outside of Chinatown and their pizza is fantastic.
I’m Patrick D’Amato and tea 🫖 love your videos
There perfect food day
wow nice i want to eat all that thanks!!
Solid list!!
i NEED THAT DURIAN 😭
For New York those prices are amazing.
The play of bbq and duck $6 😃😲
ngl i knew the first place bc mike chen made a video there saying the food was good
I’ve been there before 😋 so good. Great pork belly
