Real fun deck, this time its not even that bad. ^ ^ Ah here an expanation: The summon effects work because its applied to the card now and not to the nexus, the old one triggert after the card was summond and since the new timelines trigger on the card they trigger while summoning. The easiest comparison you can find is in PoC when garen hits nexes with less then 5 Power while you have the power on nexus that when summoned lets 5+ Power Units hit the weakest enemy it will allways trigger since garens own summon effect gives him more power because of his starpower. So the card effects will allways trigger first including added effects (the real summon ends here), and then nexus effects trigger (old timelines or zoe for example), and then unit and landmark effects trigger from left to right (here i'm not completely certain regarding the order) since nexus and other effects follow on the summon. Edit: thats also why trundle does not level of the Icepillar anymore.
13:42 This actually must be a mistake. Because Trundle says he wants to see you PLAY ice pillar, and BOTH of ice pillars play effects, the mana refill and the vulnerable to the strongest enemy, still triggered. Meaning, you DO play ice pillar while Trundle is on board, thus fulfilling his level up condition. It must be one of those stupid things like with the Jinx Rockets again when you have multiple Jinxes. They all see your hand being empty technically but because of the dumb order riot checks stuff in, the other Jinxes only check after the first one already created a rocket, thus your hand not being empty when they check. Same thing for Trundle probably, he only checks after the transformation has resolved, even though the ice pillars on play effects already triggered. Meaning that the "play" trigger of the ice pillar is not the same as the "check for play" trigger on Trundle, which is just bad game design. EDIT: And big oof on you later finding out that summon effects now work as well even though it's not a summon. Good job riot, the play effects trigger, yet the unit isn't played for the purpose of leveling Trundle, yet the summon effect now triggers on a transform. I imagine these 2 things are connected somehow, like the wrong flag is triggered so Trundle never accepts it as a "play" but it's accepted as a "summon" somehow.
Old timelines pillar triggered trundlr. I played a few days ago a game with timelines. My revna didn t pump the deck nor draw a card . Ithink timelines is now full of similari bugs.
ye, I think this is just part of the funkyness that allows these units to also trigger summon effects. (I now put down a comment that explains my theory as to why the stuff is happening as it is)
The bug is probably because the units now transform themselves during their play effect. I am guessing the summon effect is triggered after that, meaning there is already the new unit there when it is triggered. This should also mean that timelines units don't trigger their own summon effects anymore, just their play effects. Before the nexus triggered the transform, so it would happen after play and summon effect. This is also probably why Trundle doesn't see the pillar anymore, because it is already another unit after it's play effect when Trundle comes in to check if the unit you just played is an Ice Pillar.
That makes sense! What's strange is that you don't see summon effects working with Valley of Imitation, which I would assume works the same way as Timelines units now transforming themselves. I guess that's just because this is a bug that only affects Timelines, while Valley is already working as intended.
@@VisionaryDecks Valley isn't being summoned when it transforms. The difference is that basically the game executes all play effects of the played unit, after that the summon effects. So if it becomes another unit during it's play effect, when the game tries to execute the summon effects, it reads and executes the ones of the new unit, because that is the unit "that was just played(summoned)".
Seems like 54:41 was lost anyway, playing trundle spell would be -3 hp to both younglings, making it +4 to landmark at round start (+2 round end landmark effect, +2 round start youngling effect), and as it was 18/22 that's all it needed
F'N brilliant. Loved this video. The deck is hilarious, and you, sir, are God damn charming. Absolutely nothing you can't do in the future with your personality. Go F'N get it son.
So i see that CT is rework to make Play Effect work to original card and summon effect work to choosen transfrom card. I don't know what Riot think about this, it's absolutly make Pillar Ice become broken. 😂
54:10 You got so lucky here by not playing Icequake, I say lucky because you didn't seem to realize that it's litearlly a surrender to play Icequake. The unicorns would get healed by starspring AND BY THEIR OWN EFFECT AS WELL! Damaging them both would result in an instant 4 healing next round start, bringing star spring up to the needed 22 and losing you the game. It didn't end up mattering, but playing Icequake is definitely the wrong play there. 1:03:34 Nah, this brick is deserved. It's a 0 IQ play to not full swing there. Every possible trade would've been favorable for him and he would've gotten some damage on your nexus while only trading one low stat unit in the worst case scenario since you didn't have harsh winds mana. Maybe he played around the possibility that you got an updrafted harsh winds back already and had a 4 mana copy in hand? Still, that's so unlikely that him not full swinging is just objectively a bad play. 1:11:41 No, Rekindler wouldn't be enough here since he has 2 challenger units and the non challenger units are enough to kill you, so 2 units wouldn't be enough as he would just pull them out of the way. Your head is really not in the game this video, overlooking 2 ridiculous misplays that just intalose you the game.
when you don't take 2nd nagacaborous it's whatever, but when you don't take the 3rd one??? Like at this point it is just trolling. Deserved lose, i am closing the video now :/
Okay so before I watch the video, Visionary, by broken, do you mean "it doesn't work"?
lol, so true
Hahahaha
It's actually broken somehow
Actually broken this time
actually broken this time i swear
broken good
it is this time i swear it is
Real fun deck, this time its not even that bad. ^ ^

Yeah this is a very good point. Definitely a bug if Ice Pillar's play effects work, but it...doesn't count as you "playing" Ice Pillar?
Im no expert, but this sound very unlike old timelines, how did they manage to maake such different code for it o.O
Really starting to enjoy your videos. You are actually quite entertaining. Subbed and hoping to catch one of your streams one day!
This is the most fun I've had watching a video in a while!
Holy f rito actually made timeline deck look fun somehow, I hope they won't nerf the summon effect proc
This video is precisely why I love this channel. I love this deck SO MUCH!
you da best!! is it weird to say you are so calming to watch keep it up

"Out of the Way" has always said barrier but the text was normal and there was no symbol next to it if my memory serves.
Was your nick a teaser for the new champion Hwei, were you a knower? :0🤯
triple nagakabouros definitly wins
Not units in your hand, followers in your hand

Wow!! i hope riot doesn't nerf this, it looks soo fun!!!
Agreed!
So printer is the end point of all deck
You should try to make a deck with Encroaching Shadows. Its even in standard
I've been brainstorming some decks with Encroaching! I'll try to think of one soon
So crazy
But when you not summon the pillar for trundle, what do you summon?
Edit( 28:30 )
cool hoodie bro
1:20:56 Vi is short for... Vi-sionary?
Trundle is a tool to generate the real value
We all thought, Timeline was nerfed 😅 but you...
More gameplays of this deck plsss 🥵🥵
Please more Timeline videos❤
More on the way! o7
Vi is short for violet

Revna doesn t work with new timelines as well
Any summon effect shouldn't work, it's play effects only for now.
That's so disappointing...that was one of the next decks I was going to build 😔
