You gotta give it to the writers. The whole Nanako - Namatame story 'arc' was amazing. It really made you feel like you needed to save her and it makes you hate Namatame enough to actually relate to the characters when they consider killing Namatame later on. In a sense, that might be my favorite moment from a Persona game, in that it was wonderfully executed.
Absolutely. I also loved the fact that considering the evidence you had, in any way possible, Namatame was the only logical answer. But after you keep investigating than everything makes sense again. It was amazing.
I didn't hate Namatame, but I saw him more as mentally unstable for sure. That being said, no other moment in any video game ever had me as worried or scared as putting two and two together that Nanako was going to appear on TV.

I remember the moment when I realised that Nanako was going to be the next persona on the tv screen. I immediately knew after that interview came on, I also knew that there was no way that there was going to be no consequence for them showing that interview, as they wouldn’t have included it just for nothing to come of it, then I spent the next few days biting my nails in anticipation and hoping I was wrong.

What a very sad song. I almost wrote a story in this universe of Persona but it's in Canada and Hungary instead. Still very similar but different depending on the folklore of the region
