What an awesome little pedal. At that price its a no brainer to pick one up as a backup unit. That tone you got with the 608B was so good too!!! Man I wish there was gear like this available when I was starting out.
Just wondering, did you ever get a bad sounding gear ? 😃 Dont get me wrong, I love your work and your review are very well produced. But I dont think I'll get a good sound out of this with my standard E guitar and some thrash riffz. I mean , yes it will sound ok for the price but you have to set a point of comparison between a very good and an ok sounding amp. Just my opinion.
I've had some bad sounding stuff in the past but if something doesn't sound good I usually don't want to feature it on the channel. I don't see the point of doing that. Having said that, sometimes it happens
@@SonicDriveStudio I had a similar question and some feedback. I enjoy your videos and watch most of the uploads. But sometimes, it feels a little bit like a gear sales advertisement channel instead of an honest review. A/B comparisons between other similar units would help it feel authentic. Even if every piece of gear you review on the channel gets a thumbs up. Cheers
I do plenty of other videos like comparisons etc. All my reviews are very honest. I can't help it that a lot of gear sounds good these days. Also, when you do this for a living it's impossible to sustain this job without getting paid for reviews. That's just how it is. Cheers
Nice review. But I miss one info or feature: I know that the pedal does not have a Midi port. But as it can be used as an audio interface, does it present a virtual Midi port for preset switching? That's kinda crucial when it comes to live gigging and you're changing a lot of parameters. We use our DAW to automate that stuff with the HX Stomp (but our bass player does still need some MultiFX Board - this one looks quite promising).
If it used a rechargeable battery or any battery it would be an amazing travel companion. Just take your favorite guitar, this pedal, and in ears and you are set to play wherever.
@@69spiros Probably because custom IRS usually sound better and theres endless to choose from. As is the case with MOST multi effects units. Not a knock on the unit.
@@tomix1970pl1 If you find that Amplitube 5 sounds bad, there is something wrong with you as a producer. It is a totally usable software with great variety.

this thing sounds insane
That thing is just adorable!
Sounds MASSIVE for being so SMOL
Loved the touch screen joke and how you had to cut away right away after that 😅😂
Haha where was that? I forgot
@@SonicDriveStudio at 1:12 😀
@rdrae oh yeah 😊
Have mine from yesterday, I use it on my headrush frfr 112 and sounds amazing good
Sounds pretty good
I may need to get one as a backup for my Helix LT 🤔
If that things breaks mid set I'm screwed
Just use your helix for the backup this sounds better
Sounds great
How to install Hotone app ? Can send link

"I have the G1Four. Regarding the Amps? Is it worth switching to this Mini Ampero? Thank you very much!!!"
Definitely. Far better amp sounds in the ampero.
Does it have a clean bypass? If no effects are switched on, is the incoming signal affected by any EQ?

It supports MIDI via USB
@@adityabali1939 does it mean I can use my exp pedal to use as midi mod wheel in vst or daw forr automations?
When your John, you use Engl 212 as tables.
Weird... I dont have an OH-Low Tuned-High Gain IR in my OH lowtuned essentials pack... did you by chance rename the IR???
Nevermind... i found it.
They need to make a small box with capture tech integrated. As long as there’s midi and touch screen you don’t need much else
I don’t think there’s MIDI in this unit
just another proof that bigger is not always better 😂.. 230€ at thomann germany, thats a decent price i guess👌🎸
Pretty cheap!
Compare with Ampero II Stomp...

Preset song with your IR??? WHY???????
It's not my IR and preset loading is an actual feature of the pedal that can be used as pleased to get some great tones.
@@SonicDriveStudio why another IR and not the internal??

Is it a good thing or a bad?
@@neww0lf611 Amplitube 5 sucks like a hell.
Tonex sounds much better than amplitube 5 despite being from same company. Tonex compares to sounds from high end quad cortex fractal etc.
