தலைக்கனம் இல்லாமல் தாத்தா பேரனுக்குச்சொல்லுவது போல் அறிவார்ந்த உரையாடலை எளிமையாக கொண்டு செல்லும் முறை நன்றிக்குரியது. 1857 போராட்டத்தை முதல் இந்திய சுதந்திரப்போர் என்று பெயர் சூட்டியவர் வீர் சாவர்க்கர்,ஆனால் வெள்ளையர்கள் கலகம் என்றே சிறுமைப்படுத்தினார்கள். வேலூர் புரட்சியே முதல் சுதந்திரப்போராக கருத்த்தக்கதாக வரலாறு ஆய்வாளரகள் கூறுகிறாரகள் ❤

Sir. I didn't tell that Col A Brown wrote about capture of Kattabomman in 1801. You assumed this. I am having the letter with me in my chennai house. Since i am away now i tell from my unfailling memory. His letter was on september 1799. After 16 days kattabommen was hanged. Y0u met Dr Rajjayan in 1999 s. But even today I am in touch with him. I showed him this letter written by Col A Brown which I found in madras record office where u and your wife worked for years. Dr Rajayan was happy to correct himself.

Respected sir Col Brown would not have written a letter in 1801 *** Because Veerapanfyan was hanged in 1799 Also sir Pl refer Dr K Rajayyan s South Indian Rebellion I do not have the book with me now But I remeber well he has dicumented the role of Thondaman of Pudumottai in calturing and handing over of Kattabkmmsn to the EIC Rulers in his MasterPirce South Indian Rebellion under sub Title " Veerapandya Kattabkmman An Early Martyr Sir I met the great Historian kn his residence by 1990s dicussed with bim and he had helped a lot to documemt the political history of Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi District Gazetteers fir which I was inchargd as the project s Asst Editor His History of Madurai and bis book kn Carntic wars are magnum opus dichmented out and out using Archival Sources

Very good lecture Mr Rajendran I thought you was awarded Shithya Academi for your excellent literary performance Today only I came to know that the award was aquired by you by God s grace In your lecture if you rewind you are not sure about the date of hanging of Veerapandya Kattabomman Not as you said in your lecture as1801 *"" It was 1799 Your bureaucratic tendency was exposed in your lecture While you thanked the Asst Editor Gazetteets Dr Vennila you had missed to thank the Editor Gazetteets Thiru Tamilselvan who I know as former Editor worked hard to bring out the reprints of the Gazetteer

Gazattier editor Mr Tamilsevan is a good person. But his name neeed not be told in the meeting as it is not meeting related to gazattier. More over his name is not in this function. Speakers will address those names in the invitation. When u are invited to address you can refer to any names. Then what is beauracratic tendency you accuse an IAS officer of ? I know u worked in middle management under many IAS officers. So have restraint on words ,,y0u have no right to tell awards are given on god s Grace. If your bluffing is TRUE kavinger Vali. Sir I d know who you are I am happy you know me I was not working in any management cadre My work was of academic nature Respectable Mr RanendranIAS gave the lecture as a scholar who used archival sources My interaction is between the speaker an audience and not between an IAS officer and bis subordinate Now I am a retired Govt Employee I need not obey to anybody until and unless wish I have high regard and veneration for Mr Rajendrann IAS His historical researches are amazing Next to Dr Rajaiyan who had read all archival soures between the years 1735 to1802 it is Mr Rajendrsn who did it I reacted as a Madras university Rank holder in my MA History and a speaker who delivered an Endowment Lecture
More over you do not understand what I say on award .My opinion is our sir was awarded for his literary acumen NOT by graze of God as he claims I have liberty to take this view as a Periyarist

Sir Your hypotheses in the lecture you delivered is that the Thondamans of Pudhukottai did not play any role in capturing and handing over of Kattabomman to East India … The spirit of nationalism mnever.arose in 1800 s … Then Enemy s Enemy was my friend was the rule …. Enemy of Kattabomman .. Ettayapuram Zamin was against him … Pudukottai Raja was a loyalist to EI C …. This was the course then …It was the political scene … questions of survival …. The then circumstance of survival compelled Thondamans to help EIC to execute Kattabomman .. Kattabomman was loyal toEIC He opposed EIC for personal reasons Not National cause Kattabomman. Maruthu Brothers Oomaithurai Zevethiya …we’re early martyrs
