Just caught their Nashville show. Awesome. Even though Michael is battling some eye problems and Oz is recovering from brain surgery. They are still bringing it to the fans in an incredible way! And you did a great job on the video . Might I suggest Pride as a next song. Been a Christian Metal fan since 1983.
Glad that they FINALLY got rid of Tim Gaines! He reportedly caused so much trouble, that these guys wised up, realized that Tim wasn't gonna change...so they dumped him, and picked up Perry Richardson from the band Firehouse. Perry is a great addition to Stryper, as far as I'm concerned. Not to be hating on Tim Gaines, but he just needed to go. He's been in and out of Stryper at least 4 times. If someone is in a band, but causing problems, and going in and out like that, replace 'em!!!
This is the best Stryper album ever, period. Michael and Oz are simply the best guitar duo playing dual lead guitar in the biz. This song is the best overall Stryper song ever!
I love it they rock and sounds great. Oz needs are prayers. Do unto others that is the way it was intended to be. And if it was that way. The world would be a better place
This is a fantastic album. Anyone listening to it has to acknowledge it’s legit, head-banging rock. Thx for the reaction to it. Make Love Great Again is my favorite from the album.
I think this song and "Divider" are my two favorites off this album. There isn't a bad song on this record though. I'm glad that a band of their longevity isn't just mailing it in. They're as convicted and edgy as they ever were. They know what they do well and they deliver it on every tune. Stryper absolutely RAWKS for the ROCK!
Killer tone and riffs on this track! Someone in another review pointed out in the music video, when he sings this life is too short to waste a day, he points at the other guy because he’s been battling some health issues. Especially in 2020, pretty metal to be a Christian band that Sings positivity
Good turnout for Stryper. Interesting within 24 hours of posting to see so many comments- I dig it, both the song and the support. An indication you're on the right track with what you pull for your listeners Shane. I also grew up in the Soldiers Under Command and To Hell With the Devils days, and this reminds me of those times. Nice react video Sir.
Wouldn't you say that was the highest peak of Stryper, I remember them playing Always There For You during the day on Mtv that was kind of a big deal wasn't it? or am I remembering wrong?
@@ShaneDiablo Sorry for late reply Shane. I don't get notified when someone replies to me, which is strange. I need to change my settings somehow. Yes I agree, they were at their commercial peak. But to me, the songs had (and still have) great staying power: In God We Trust, It's Up To You, Always There For You, The Reign. I completely forgot about To Hell With The Devil tho. LOL! Probably a tad better. Calling On You, Honestly, The Rock; etc. Both albums were (and are to me) the best.
Strypet is my favorite band. They got me into rock/metal when I was about 12. I would love you to fo another christian band Red. “Let Go” “Feed the Machine” “Faceless” etc.
Love STRYPER!! This album is definitely one of their best albums. Perry's bass sounds amazing. Being a bass player myself, the balance is so much better than the earlier albums, IMO. Love your enthusiastic reactions. Keep up the good work!!! 🤘🤘
I hadn't heard about Theocracy with a new album. Please tell me this is true?? Matt Smith & Co. only release albums like every 5 years. They're always great albums but I wish they were more frequent. And now that Val Allen Wood is gone, I wonder if that will impact Matt and how much?
Love your reaction video man! Hilarious. I can see you really respect Stryper as a band and I appreciate that cause I am a diehard fan of their's since the late 80's and this song is one of their all time best songs IMO. Check out the whole Even the Devil Devil Believes album it's so worth the time. Many fans are saying this is the best one they've ever recorded. Definitely the best production ever! Michael Sweet is a genius singer/guitar player/writer/producer etc.... Would love to see your reaction to the 2nd single "Make Love Great Again", which is another one of my favorites from the new record. 👊
I absolutely love that song straight forward clear message and the music no question why they are selling albums that good right😊 By the way I love how you feel the music great channel new subscriber jeahhh 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Whats up Mr. Diablo. Were you aware that Stryper's bass player Perry Richardson was a member of Firehouse back in the day? Interesting little tidbit for ya.
Shane Diablo they did play that song, the next time I saw them open for Metallica Master of Puppets tour. I was a teenager thinking that it was soo cool being hometown heroes.
Oh Yeah P.O.D I forgot about them but still I think Stryper beats them they had a few big hits but I think Stryper wins.. I don't think I have heard Skillet I know the name though
Just sent 3.00. Please do RAGE OF ANGLES.... SOMEBODY IS WATCHING U..... JEFF ROBLOW FROM. SHREVEPORT LOUISIANA THANKS. No I'm not kin to ROBLOW THE ACTOR :)))) very underrated christian metal band. Same time frame as stryper

This whole album kicks-ass. Divider is a smack in your face type of song that wakes you up in the morning.
Been jamming that one over and over. Yep
Stryper is awesome!!!!!
The whole Album is So Good. I think there last 4 have been great but I think Perry on Bass on this Album sounds Amazing!
Its so nice to actually hear the bass. I never could really hear Tims bass. But bringing the bass toward the front a little... frickin love it.

Stryper rules!
I love it they rock and sounds great. Oz needs are prayers. Do unto others that is the way it was intended to be. And if it was that way. The world would be a better place
Stryper keeps getting better. Fallen is my favorite album so far, but this after every listen...yes.
Love these guys! Favorite off the new CD!
This is a fantastic album. Anyone listening to it has to acknowledge it’s legit, head-banging rock. Thx for the reaction to it. Make Love Great Again is my favorite from the album.
Awesome reaction! Stryper is the best. They just continue to get better each album they release.
Excellent tune and band!! The tightness, crunch, melodic Rock-Metal style and message!! Keep em coming.
Whole album is great! Great song on this is Divider. Best lyrics that focus on the gospel is Let Him in. Dig your channel man. Keep it up.

Stryper continues to be my favorite... they continue to perform
Great album and definitely a message that humanity needs to hear nowadays!

Perry Richardson used to play bass in Firehouse . Micheal Sweet plays the lead solo .

In God We Trust has always been my favorite Stryper album.
Wouldn't you say that was the highest peak of Stryper, I remember them playing Always There For You during the day on Mtv that was kind of a big deal wasn't it? or am I remembering wrong?

I saw these guys back in the day and they were really that good at playing and singing live!
Strypet is my favorite band. They got me into rock/metal when I was about 12. I would love you to fo another christian band Red. “Let Go” “Feed the Machine” “Faceless” etc.

Rock on!
Last three albums have been great! Theocracy has a new disk coming out, the heir apparent to Stryper's White Metal crown.

Shane, You Rock Bro!
Do The Valley or Take It To The Cross off of the God Damn Evil album by Stryper. Very heavy! Actually a couple of their heavier songs
Love your reaction video man! Hilarious. I can see you really respect Stryper as a band and I appreciate that cause I am a diehard fan of their's since the late 80's and this song is one of their all time best songs IMO. Whats up Mr. Diablo. Were you aware that Stryper's bass player Perry Richardson was a member of Firehouse back in the day? Interesting little tidbit for ya.
OTIS! I am now fully aware, that's why you kick ass! bringing the fun nuggets! stay good, stay safe stay well!!
Loved firehouse..
Their come-back album was "Reborn".
I went to see Stryper back in the late 80s and Frystryke opened the show. it was a heck of a show.
Hot damn! that would have been a zinger, did they do the song Just A Nightmare? I sis a first listen of Firstryke for B Movie Brian a few months back!
Shane Diablo they did play that song, the next time I saw them open for Metallica Master of Puppets tour. I was a teenager thinking that it was soo cool being hometown heroes.
First listen???
Love your stuff, bro
Check out DELIVERANCE, their first album
Everything thier doing now is really good check thier new Single
Love the Christian metal, do all of Even The Devil Believes
Perry Richardson is the Bassist . Used to be Tim Gaines
You could check out Bloodgood. "Out of the Darkness" is pretty good! Or "Pray", not a bad start either.
Check out Bride, P.O.D
Yea I like that song because it is good and chunky and groovy. Revelation and Pride are good songs too.
If there is a bigger band under the Christian metal label it's P.O.D. or Skillet.
Oh Yeah P.O.D I forgot about them but still I think Stryper beats them they had a few big hits but I think Stryper wins.. I don't think I have heard Skillet I know the name though
@@ShaneDiablo monster, hero, awake and alive, feel invincible and legendary. Basically half the wwe themes. All 3 bands sold 12 million albums
Skillet is amazing. Lots of videos of them on UA-cam.
Not even close if you look at the totality of everything.
Just sent 3.00. Please do RAGE OF ANGLES.... SOMEBODY IS WATCHING U..... JEFF ROBLOW FROM. SHREVEPORT LOUISIANA
THANKS. No I'm not kin to ROBLOW THE ACTOR :)))) very underrated christian metal band. Same time frame as stryper
Yes. ROA was fantastic. Too bad the band was defunct by the time the record was released. I guess Steelheart got the better end of that deal. Haha.
This guy is hilarious!
You need to check out the band skillet
Barren cross Atomic Arena Rules
Great album! I think he enjoyed it ? or he ate a 4 pound block of cheese and it’s just starting to make its way out 😂
