    RESTRICTION SUMMARY:
    ASSOCIATED PRESS
    Beijing - 10 May 2024
    Spokesperson: Lin Jian
    Duration: 06 min 41 sec
    STORYLINE:
    1. The Philippines' national security adviser called on Friday for Chinese diplomats to be expelled over an alleged leak of a phone conversation with a Filipino admiral. What’s your comment?
The Philippines' attitude just proves that they lack confidence in the face of facts and evidence and have reached the point where they are frustrated and have no bottom line. China solemnly demands that the Philippines ensures that Chinese diplomats can perform their duties, stops infringement and provocation and does not deny the facts, act indiscreetly or hurt itself by its own actions.
    2. A number of countries have condemned the recent attacks on two Jordanian relief convoys carrying humanitarian supplies to Gaza and have called on Israel to abide by the relevant laws and ensure the smooth entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. What are China's comments on this?
China strongly condemns the attack on Jordan’s humanitarian aid convoy, which violates international law and international humanitarian law. As the Palestinian-Israeli conflict continues drags on, the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has become extremely grave. We urge Israel to earnestly fulfill its obligations under international humanitarian law and cooperate with humanitarian agencies in facilitating their assistance safely.
    3. The Biden administration placed 37 Chinese entities on a trade black list on Thursday on the national security grounds, including companies accused of providing support for last year's 'spy balloons. What is China's response?
China has always been firmly opposed to the U.S. misuse of the entity list and other export control tools to suppress Chinese companies. China and Russia have the right to carry out normal economic and trade cooperation, and such cooperation should not be disrupted or restricted.
I would like to emphasize that, for a long time, the U.S. side has used the so-called national security risk as a reason to suppress Chinese enterprises but has never been able to produce the so-called evidence. We urge the U.S. side to stop overstretching the concept of national security, stop politicizing, instrumentalizing and weaponizing economic, trade and sci-tech issues and stop abusing all kinds of sanctions lists to suppress Chinese enterprises unreasonably. China will continue to take necessary measures to firmly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
    4. It is reported that U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken recently said at a forum hosted by the McCain Institute that China’s unfair trade practice was based on its “position of strength” not its comparative advantage. What is China's comment on this?
The relevant U.S. statement runs counter to common sense in economics and disregards objective facts. China's economy has developed and grown in the ocean of the global market, following the norms of international trade and the rules of the market economy, relying on the advantages of the super-large-scale market, complete industrial support, abundant labor resources and full market competition. These are China's comparative advantages.
    5. A bipartisan group of U.S. congressmen introduced a bill that would make it easier for the Biden administration to impose export controls on artificial intelligence (AI) models to prevent U.S. technology from falling into the hands of foreign bad actors. What are China's comments on this?
    9. What’s your comment on President Xi’s trip to Europe?

    作为中国领导人,如果敏昂莱不能维持在缅甸政坛,就问缅甸是否会在保护自身利益的基础上入侵。
