Lewis Hamilton claimed a dramatic British GP 2020 win after both he and teammate Valtteri Bottas suffered tyre issues in the closing stages of the race. Max Verstappen took second while Charles Leclerc rounded off the podium in third.

It reminds me what happened seven years ago in the same circuit. Interestingly，the podium includes a Mercedes，a Red Bull and a Ferrari，Lewis Hamilton got a puncture，a McLaren got a puncture as well. So history does repeat itself.

Sure Lewis had some luck but it also shows quite a bit of skill to get the car home with 3 wheels with Max charging after you. 30 seconds isn't that much when half the car is dragging on the ground and you car barely steer. It would only take one bad corner to lose it.
Yeah bottas did a complete lap without 1 tire while hamilton got puncture near copse. Also lucky that redbull pitted verstappen for FL and gave that 30 second gap

1) showed no respect to Seb for his departure
2) Building average cars for the last 2 years.
Mind you, drivers that come to Ferrari expect to be fighting for Wins and Championships REGULARLY and those 2 expectations hasn't been happening consistently over the last decade. Its either its able to fight for wins or stay close in the Championship but fade away in the end. If drivers like Alonso and Vettel can't do it at Ferrari, no one will unless something changes internally there and not this reshuffling nonsense that they mentioned this week. Theres clearly something wrong on the technical and management side. This team has the biggest budget yet its Mercedes who are dominating and building ever improving cars year in, year out. Its unacceptable for Ferrari. Full stop.

Ok but the red bull camp did not show any signs of Tyre wear/blistering or vibration in the last moments of the race "race report". Ten laps from the end, with Hamilton and Bottas’ hard tyres both sporting visible blisters on the front-lefts, while Verstappen had done a fine job to stay within 10s of Bottas, having built up his own near-half minute gap over Leclerc.With two laps to go, though, Mercedes looked set to eke out the tyre life, but then the cameras picked up the astonishing sight of Bottas limping, his tyre having let go at Turn 3 on Lap 50, with nearly a full lap for him to recover. Lap 51 Verstappen into the pits for an free pit stop to change to softs and try and claim fastest lap, not because he wasn't sure what was going on with is tyres. Now, with all this data, the Reb bull race engineers and Max are trying cover up this awful mistake with excuses. they had nothing to loose and everything to gain
