I let my girlfriend take my car the other day. When I heard it turn on I'm just like dang that's what my car sounds like from inside the house. 😂

@@toddpreisler8963the k5 uses the smartstream 1.6t engine, slightly different, though not sure what the differences are lol but since the 1.6t still in use in the Forte GT has been used, and improved over the years since 2012-2013 , its the more reliable one.

I just bought a 2021 forte GT and was worried I'd be disappointed by spending the extra money and getting a car that sucked. I'm pleasantly surprised, I've seen guys with a piggyback tuner get 5.5 sec 0-60
@@mariosmith8456 I feel the same as you. I really thought I would have the car for about 4 months and be board to years with it. 7 months and 15k miles later I could not be more happy with it. As far as the 5.5 0-60 that’s I big improvement. Wow
Just bought my 24 GT a few days ago after doing a lot of research and UA-cam video watching. This helped my decision in buying one. Hearing it start up in person does it way more justice. My previous HEMI vehicles have that distinct sound to them and this one has its own unique sound which I like and appreciate. Gives me something different: great performance and great gas mileage, both aspects no HEMI powered vehicle can give you.

How you get that noise muffler delete ? Mine brand new one Dosent sound like that
When I filmed this it was brand new and completely untouched. It's strange because I had 3 Chargers and all of them sounded different too. 1 was louder, one was deeper and one was quieter.
BTW I own a 2022. Awesome car for the money 🤙

I just bought this Sept 24th. I'm 57 and my AllState insurance went from $81 to $107 a month. Just got a quote for $91. Still shopping but I'm changing insurance. AAA wanted $288 a month & Progessive $150. I've never had an accident and only 2 tickets in my life when I was young. I'd hate to see what it would be if I bought a Charger. lol

I think they are not bad. But, I have seen some duals that definitely look better.

That’s the stock exhaust too? How is the get up on this? I’m in the car market and need to know if it’s got the pep in it’s step. Also what’re your thoughts on the new civic sedans, the 1.5T?
Hey. Thanks for the comment and questions. That is totally stock. Surprisingly these cars have pretty good aftermarket support too. There are exhaust systems available. Well, depends what you consider good get up. That is kind of subjective. I can tell you I drove my son's 2022 Corolla for 5-months while he was out on a mission and it was a dog. It seemed as if I had my foot to the floor regularly. This car has a lot more guts. I find it to be quite adequate. I love the look of the new Civics. You can't deny their quality. I haven't looked but my guess would be that with equivalent trim they would be thousands more than this. I know my son's Corolla is $1,000 more and has significantly less equipment. Thanks for the great questions. Keep them coming. This is a great car for the money. I figured I would be bored to tears with it by now but I could not be more thrilled.

@@Jbargnani94 I can’t get real specific without knowing the tax rate where you are or the interest rate you will get. But, as an example. $26,000, 6.25 sales tax, 0 down, 6% interest at 6 years is $457 per month.
I really hate that sound, it doesn’t sound good at all. Sound like an old Datsun with a broken exhaust. That’s why I have a performance muffler and a vibrant resonator with 2 1/2 piping
I think it sounds pretty good for a stock 4 cylinder. It’s no R/T or Scat Pack. Did you do what you talked about on your Forte GT?

@@user-fo9ps6ww8w Well, I traded it last July. I did have some issues. AC went out which they could fix and had issues with the radio disconnecting constantly on Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth. They couldn't fix it. I drive too much to not have that working. I had it 11 months and put 20,000 miles on it. I really enjoyed it other than the audio system that Kia has no answers for. I might have another video or 2 over on my car channel. I can't remember. I now put all my car stuff over there. It's Dads Garage (car channel). Look forward to seeing you over there too.

That’s what I always got asked about the Scat. Nothing sounds better from the factory than a Scat. But, as far as this goes I’m not used to hearing any sound from a 4 cylinder. It’s nothing amazing. But, not bad for what it is.

What's the point of an exhaust if it's not V8...
There are levels to everything. There are a lot of crap sounding V8’s out there too. Most 4’s you hear nothing. If you watch the channel you know I have a V8 in the driveway and a V8 in the garage. And 47,000 people have enjoyed the video. It’s ok if it’s not your thing. Appreciate the comment Edgar.
I’ve heard plenty of V6’s and a few 4 cylinder cars sound better than V8’s. My 5.7 Jeep was extremely quiet before I installed a custom exhaust system and dropped a CAM in it
