Prior to these the police or any other law enforcement agency would have to go to a judge and get a WARRANT and install a GPS on your car secretly and follow you, now they just log on in their police cars or at their desk at Langley and follow you everywhere you go! It’s called a warrantless search and seizure and it’s illegal! Supreme Court Ruling on
Warrantless GPS Vehicle Tracking, it’s the exact same thing except they are not putting it on your vehicle they are putting them on every corner, just look around you will see them!
now they have expanded to photograph ATV, next unregistered vehicles or uninsured vehicles because they are most likely to be criminals, next a pedestrian, next...this is the natural progression

This is what you get for not speaking up. Flock touts "fighting crime together" but their marketing had a had time getting into New England as opposed to other locations in the country so they targeted Providence, which although one of the safest cities in the nation...to get a foothold in New England..because they had a sympathetic ear and contacts there.
wait i thought it just scans plates, then they say its taking pictures of atv with out plates? Hmm
Yeah, they have bee disingenuous by saying “license plate readers” , they are straight up taking pictures of you & your kids & you have no idea where they are going.

I was driving in china this summer and there are Flock camera every 200 meter , and they flash every time I dove by... kinda feels like in a video game
It’s hard but we have to accept that we live in a police surveillance state.
This is a horrible idea. This tracks all data not just known criminals, stolen cars or speeders

@DaDecider …. This has NOTHING to do with lazy police,,genius… These cameras take a picture of YOU, YOUR CAR, YOUR PLATE, your gps location and date and time stamp.. can law enforcement use them? Yep! Her is food for thought let’s track everyone’s data and sell it to the highest bidder. Hummmm how are we gonna do that! Well let’s put these cameras everywhere and tell everyone that law enforcement can use them to solve crimes! Bingo,,, WAKE UP AMERICA!!

this system is very common in asian country especially in China and South Korea

How is this cameras controversial when your in public and every one can see you if you don't want to be seen in public then stay in your house you should not have to worry about getting arrested if your not doing a crime in public it's comes down to law abiding Citizens not having issues in public because they are not braking the law
Do you wear your drivers' license on your shirt like a name tag when you're walking around in public? I didn't think so. Remember the 4th Amendment.

Omg people, again a bunch of sheep!!! These cameras are NOT about catching criminals, do they? Yep they sure do on occasion! What they are doing is capturing and storing YOUR data of your travels everywhere you go and the second they don’t like you, they got you!
@@RSI24 hello earth to dummies your plate IS ATTACHED TO YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE so yes they are capturing your data and everywhere you travel it is clearly a violation of the 4th amendment the Supreme Court ruled there is an EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY WHEN YOU ARE TRAVELING IN YOUR VEHICLE.
You know what’s crazy - your phone already keeps track of when you go places. Your car’s description, VIN, and plate are already logged somewhere. You’re in the public. You’re using a phone. The cameras aren’t getting anything that you’re already giving.
You have a choice to enable history tracking on Android. You have a choice to put the phone in airplane mode or turn it off. You do not have a choice to not be photographed by a flock camera
