- Oioi screwing people,
Wanted to shortly show you how to remove the seat, gas tank and side panels on this Honda CBR 954.
Reasons why you'd want to do this are many, such as: replacing the battery, oil and filter, air filter or, you simply want to check for oil leaks or make a nice spring clean underneath your plastics.
Give it a check and if there's something unclear or could be done better, let me know in the comments section below.
Until the next one,
Peace!
Beautiful video
Thanks man!
Do you know how to disconnect the gas tank and take it off? Trying to figure that out.
Hey dear Thomas, I would guess you'll need to unlug the fuel lines, disconnect any electrical cable (like fuel level sensor) and then undo the bolt holding the buttom of the fuel tank on the frame. Best would be if you can find a service/owners manual and there you should have the procedure well described. Peace
You supposed to press the little pin in the Centre to remove those plastic screws
Tank you very much for the tip, apreciate it
Do you need to remove the right panel in order to remove the left panel, or can the left panel be removed by itself? I need to remove my left panel to repaint my stator cover (left side) and don't want to remove both side panels if it isn't necessary.
Hello sir, you can remove only the left "big" pannel but don't forget about the underneath plastic mountings
