Huge thanks! I did this with a PSD where I had a sketch layer and then more finalized layers for the drawings... I was only able to salvage the sketch layer, but it's much better than nothing!

@@KepoArtStudio oh this one is on me. I knew the function I was about to use had a change of crashing my pc. I just forgot to consider the other concequenses... so yeah lesson learned. Don't use buttons that have a 50/50 change of crashing things.

Krita is an open-source software program that you can download for free.

If AU can read your PSD, then save it as PSD. Then, try to open the new saved PSD using Photoshop. Good luck!
