IPhone 6S - Do You Need a New Case?

- There's a new iPhone on the scene. And since it's an S model it looks exactly like last years iPhone. However if you look closely there have been some slight changes. According to Apples specifications the phone is now a tenth of a millimeter wider and two tenths taller and thicker. Those slight differences won't mean much on most cases but in some situations it can create problems.
In this video we look at the OtterBox Symmetry, Urban Armor Gear and Urban Armor Gear Folio, BeeLine Case, LifeProof Nuud, and Dog and Bone Wetsuit. For the most part these cases still all work great with some minor exceptions that I mention in the video.

I just reviewed the slimmest case j know of, the PlayProof. Between that and UAG I wouldn't use anything slimmer. The 6 and 6S both fit in those cases beautifully. You can see the PlayProof review at ua-cam.com/video/levNDFDF1eU/v-deo.html if interested.
On the lifeproof water test did you say water did get inside? The sound of opening the case was masking your voice for a second.
Sorry for the confusion and thanks for clarifying. No water got inside. There was a drop or two on the back of the phone when I took the case apart and I was saying that those drops came from the outside of the case or my hands. It's definitely still waterproof.

If the nuud leaks through to my 6s, I'll send you the bill! Just kidding haha. But are you 100% sure that the water is from your hands? I'm sorry to ask but are you able to do another quick test to be sure?
I understand your concern and I did another test that same day but didn't record it. I put it under water several times and it never leaked. I'd gladly jump in the pool with it on my 6S.

I didn't realize you were buying a case. I would only recommend you use the Nuud for the iPhone 6 on the 6S if you already had one. If you're buying it new I'd wait for LifeProof to launch their new cases. Mobile Reviews Eh said their Nuud wouldn't snap shut on the iPhone 6S for example, so your mileage may vary.
While you wait you may consider the Dog and Bone Wetsuit Impact. This is a new case for them and would compare more to the Fre since it has a built in glass screen protector. They are sending me one soon for review so stay tuned if that's something you'd consider. The sound quality is generally better with Dog and Bone versus LifeProof and I'm very excited about this case's potential.
