I grew up watching 90s basketball and am a HUGE Jordan stan. I've seen a fair amount of basketball in my 41 years but I'm sorry, Curry is the most overall skilled offensive player I have ever seen play. Yeah he isnt dunking like Vince or MJ. He may not have Kobe and MJ killer instinct or Shaq's dominance but that Got damn baby faced assassin is a bad MF!
I'm not sure if he's the MOST skilled, but I do think most people have an uncanny habit of seeing dominance and thinking it's the same thing as skill. MJ and KD are guys that come to mind - players whose physical talent let them do the same 2 or 3 moves without being stopped. And when they DO get stopped, they just give up the ball and get it back. That's one of the main differences between MJ and Kobe too. You can call it a bad shot, but what happens when your teammates don't come to help get the ball out of your hands after you picked up your dribble? Risk a jump ball by attempting to call a timeout?
