In a real game if you have someone running at you full speed and you dont pump fake you have little experience. I do think its a good drill because it can teach you to shoot when the defense closes out but yeah if i saw someone running like that id just pump fake.

We actually do this drill, with a little different variation, after you run and if you knock it you have to get the ball, dribble to the baseline, then go back and then the next person try’s to knock it, we did that for like 10 minutes straight, felt like I was gonna pass out 😅 worse than running lines imo
