Try temp jobs! You'll begin as something somewhat close to a seasonal worker, but you'll often have the opportunity to be transitioned into a full-time position. All the Texans from Dallas are trying to leave and never come back, it's getting wild out here.

Yeah, I certainly considered getting back into temp jobs, that's how I got my first big girl job after I left school.

This will be my fourth year working for Xanterra at Yellowstone. I think they’ve hired almost all the management positions but if they still do have some open you don’t have to pay for your meals or board and I know my friend is a assistant manager she makes $800 a week.

There're a couple place in Alaska I've seen hiring, you can either find them on coolworks or on Alaskatourjobs.com. I'm also often partial to Colorado, Arapahoe Basin is hiring for some positions, just to throw that out. You'll find a variety of jobs on Coolworks.

I think it depends on which position you take and/or the cost of housing, which can offset lower pay. I've done seasonal for eight years and have found highly lucrative positions. There's also the fact that you typically don't have to pay utilities, wifi, deposits, etc. and most of mine have been around food, so there's another cost I don't have to worry about. You can also find year-round positions, if you don't want to keep moving, I kind of like that part. It's funny because I have been considering Montana for the summer. I'm not a cold environment person, and thought it'd be beautiful during the summer, but it's one of the states I don't know much about. Then, for me, it's the fact that you are living in a place that people are paying to go to.
Also, side note, wondering where you are in your cycle, lol. We tend to go off the rails with nutrition during luteal, which is when we need it the most.🤣
Wishing you the best whatever you decide!

Hey - I was Guest Services Supervisor at Gunflint Lodge in MN. I have moved on and they did not backfill that yet and they also may have a Guest Services regular position opening up soon as someone else is moving on. Could be an option if you are looking.

Hey Bria, greetings! Have you considered Alaska for seasonal work? You can fly there and housing is cheap and jobs don’t pay too bad. Idk just food for thought.

I'll have to look their way again, I interviewed for a year-round position with them before deciding to stay in Montana. I passed on it at the time due to housing concerns. 😏
