They had to change the rules so Jordan could finally win, which he couldn't do in his first 7 years against much better players in the 80's.

What an idiotic comment, Jezz. I guess you didn't know he averaged a lot more points against the better players of the 80s than he did in the 90s.

@@davidschmidt1793 He took more shots in the 80's, period. Still got hammered by Bird and Thomas, I was in Boston Garden to see it. He's not even close to being the best ever. Bird Dominated the little guy when jordan tried to guard him. It turned into a laugh fest. They had to change the game so Jordan could win, well never did in the 80's when the men played.

@@user-nj2vv2xm4j Bird and Thomas hammered him lol. You mean, the stacked team beat the team with Jordan and a bunch of role players? Do you call averaging 44ppg being hammered? Jordan outplayed Thomas the 4 times they met in the playoffs. If you can't tell the difference between a collective feat, such as winning a series, and an individual feat, then this conversation is pointless. A young Jordan was way too small to guard a 6'9 skilled player like Bird. You're focusing on that, but there was nothing Bird could do against Jordan either, even though he was an underrated defender. Jordan took more shots, but he also shot a lot better, he had an easier time scoring in the 80s than he did in the 90s, when he turned into more of a jump shooter. His playoffs averages prior to 1991 were roughly 36/7/7 on 50.5% shooting. But please, tell me what were the rules that somehow made Jordan win 6 rings, I'd like to hear that.

@@davidschmidt1793 Now you will learn something. Go back and see how many shots he took in those games you're talking about. If Bird took that many he would have outscored Jordan, while out rebounding and assisting him. Bird was a playmaker, Jordan was a ball hog. Jabbar, Magic, Wilt and Bird and a few others were better than Jordan.

@@davidschmidt1793 That's always the excuses made up for the little guard. Jordan hardly made his team better like Bird and Magic did. Again, I was there to see almost every big game in BG, Jordan wasn't close to be the biggest draw, he never won. lol
