Buddy I got the wedge in, didn’t quite fill all the way but she’s spread out over top the sides of the axe head, I think if I put a couple of those circle metal wedges front and back she’s gonna be awful close. Just went and tested it and oh man I’m in heaven! Thank you so much for inspiring me to take on new projects and get involved with the woods again. I’m gonna be honest with you here. COVID put me in a very very dark place. I’ve been out of work, sitting around doing nothin. It’s taken a toll on the whole family here tbh. I started a big tree job about 2 days before I found your UA-cam channel, and as I progressed watching your videos it gave me some jam to go out there and do the very best I could. I feel completely revitalized. Ive been playing around with my old saws, taking interest in my craft again, even went out and bought me a 572 husqvarna with a 28 inch bar/20 inch bar, and IM ENJOYING LIFE AGIAIN. To everybody here, thank you all for being so kind, so giving, so loving. It’s absolutely amazing to be able to come here, hang out and talk to everyone and feel welcomed. I can’t even put it to words. Love all of you!

My lord. My cousin was under a pinto many years ago. Thing was he was next to a bog, here in the dunes of northern indiana. He had only jacked the car up with a floor jack, then slide u der the car for whatever reason. The jack sank and the car was sitting on his chest. He was able to uell loud enough his mother heard him from imside the house. She, not a very big woman, with the help of adrenaline, grabbed the front of that car and picked it up enough for him to get out. Scary stuff. I hope your o.k. and doing well. Godspeed!!
OMG... I just clicked and subscribed. A crazy man with... CHAINSAWS! I just got one of my SXLs ready to run last week. It's gonna supplement my new used 50 dollar Chinese Craftsman. I got a pile of Homelites to resurrect. Haven't been burning wood for about 5 years. Have to change that in 2021...Have 2 young men here to train as saw operators. That's where the little Craftsman comes in for a starter saw. We gotta get the edumacation on several manly man life skills going at warp factor 9. Gas, oil, sawdust and gunpowder on the wind in 2021. Now where is that chain breaker??? Where is my stump vise I last used in 2015?

Billy, you should test the wood when using the draw knife. If it is pulling big chunks out you are drawing against the grain. Flip the piece end for end and draw with the grain. You can usually see which direction the grain is running. A tight grained wood is harder to tell.
