It's vacation time, yay! And I haven't completed some of my collaborations yet, (sarcastic) yay! But at least one of them is coming soon, I hope. ^_^
Still, I'm here with a remake of one of the most tragic and dark songs I've ever sung. That was like... six years ago that I recorded the first version. I had such a childish voice back then, haha. Always loved singing in Latin, since I was studying the language by that time.
I decided to redo this cover because people keep posting comments on the old video. I listened to the old cover and thought "oh boy... this sounds kinda wrong, let's try again". So here's the outcome.
Hope that you can actually hear an improvement and that it's not just some delusion, LOL.

I still think the original is better as it captures a particular feel with how heartbroken the singer sounded while this one feels more like an average performance, but I can see why people would like this.
I totally agree! The original is way better :) If you say this because of the "improved version" thing in the title, it's because I recorded another cover of this song a few years ago. So this cover is an improvement of my older cover, but not better than the original, of course.

You make me cry. You broke my heart into pieces. The original song is haunting, the voice and the music rich and you appreciate it as good music piece. But THIS.... with your sorrowful, piercing voice like a blade and with nothing but a little piano in the background..... Everything around me became bitter cold, black, just nothingness. Not even depression, something that comes AFTER that. I can't name it. Desperation. Death. Something that never was and will always be. It never existed in this world but it will always linger here, for eternity. Maybe a ghost. Maybe just a thought. Something that will keep you awake at nights and trouble you, but it will trouble you more to know you have no answer for it and as well as the fact that it's terrifyingly inevitable. I'm sorry, my words probably don't make sense. Music doesn't either. Both are felt, not explained. Thank you for bringing this version into this world.

There is no 'new version' for the original, I posted it as "new cover" because I recorded a cover years ago but I didn't like it. :) It's fair that you prefer the original!
