Here is the website I am building which will have accompanying notes/articles for every video, I am verifying my account today, so I should be able to have the clickable links feature soon, until then, you could just paste it into your url.

If you enjoyed this video, and want another in depth review of each keyboard let me know! Or if you would like software/Linux related content.
thank you for the review
Thanks! I have a few friends into 3d printing and have discussed creating our own, such as a trackpad or nipple built in.
I’ve also found the Adv2 to be more comfortable. I would even say I like the Adv2 over their newer 360 model.
Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
You mentioned that the advantage 2 doesn't work well with Linux. Did you mean the software?
Can't you remap stuff using the keyboard itself? Can you remap the keys using a text file, or a vm?
Thanks for the video
I am looking at the advantage 360 but the ergodox was too big for my hands particularly the thumb keys so this makes me hopeful
If you like advantage, you will love glove80
Came here to say this... lmao
Funny enough, I hated the Glove80. I was really expecting to like it but it just didn't gel with me. I realize that I'm the outlier, lol.
I was gonna reply the same thing. I have both Glove80 and Kinesis Advantage 360 Pro.
Glove80 caused me all sorts of RSI pains. Advantage 360 has kept my hands super healthy. And I gave the glove80 a solid month of use. But had to give up.
I gave it to my friend who also has a kinesis 360 pro. He also started feeling pain within 2 weeks of glove80. While he never had pain for over 1 year with Kinesis 360.
Not saying glove80 is a horrible product. But its not 100% compatible with everyone has some sell it out to be. Everyones different (same can be said of kinesis of course)
@@Mikenight120 what kind of rsi did you get both ?
Don't buy Kinesis Adv2 if you work with a Macbook Pro, I had it for 4 years and now it doesn't want to work again, apparently the issue is related with the use of hubs/adapters because of the missing native usb port in MBP.
4:50 How about those cupboards above the closet? 🧐💡
huh?
i too find the kinesis way better . flat keyboards are just different.the curve makes it better and easier to type.
Don't like a version of Windows?
No I use Linux becuase I want to have control of my operating system

Some constructive criticism, reviews and comparisons have a lot more value when you go and learn the names of the software, the actual workflows, etc before you make the video. I am not hating on your process, or at least I am not trying to, but a software developer who can't actually get the software names and the process accurate in a video like this is not a strong voice. I encourage you to make this video again, but actually write a script that incorporates the SmartSet and Oryx reality instead of going off your memory and guessing at how things work. I would also recommend using a stationary camera because this is really nauseating to me.
Ok, so using OBS to screen record the software workflow of Orynx/Wally and then of Kinesis's Smartset app? And stationary camera.
I do appreciate your criticism, however, there appears to be 10 likes and 0 dislikes, so you seem to be a vocal minority.
meh it was comprehensible enough, I think most people watching are more concerned with the hardware rather than the software. also kinda passive aggressive tone to that comment lol (constructive cristicism)
I really dont think anyone gives a hoot about that. He nailed it down more than good enough and shared his reasons quite understandably and absent unnecessary formality. There isn't anything special about being a software developer that should compel him to do anymore than he did.
@@thommajore4492 no offense, he literally doesn’t know what the software is and several times stated things that were just flat wrong.
Glove80 is best
Are you fucking serious? Review of keyboard without a single keypress?
Ergodox design is flawed. Get Dactyl.
Thoughts about dygma raise?
Honestly I stopped caring about keyboards after I settled for the Kinesis, unless I 3D print my own, I don't think I'll find one better
