Here, we present Mountain Cart ride starting from Schreckfeld mountain station of Grindelwald to Bort mountain station (asl 1564 m/ 5131 ft), passing through the pleasant mountainous landscape to meadows and pastures, grazing cows with the relaxing vibes. To reach to the starting point, i.e. Schreckfeld mountain station, one should either take a cable car/gondola from Grindelwald village or hike for ~3-4 hours. The Mountain Cart, a mix of go-kart and sledge, is suitable for fun for adults and children with a minimum height of 135 cm. Everyone must wear helmet, which is provided free of charge (or say included in the ticket price).
Price for single ride ticket (excl. cable car ride)
Adults CHF 21.-
Children 6 to 15 years CHF 17.-
To the tourists and travellers, Grindelwald region offers many adventurous and fun activities in the summer season - FIRST Cliff Walk, FIRST Flyer, First Glider, Paragliding, TrottiBike (from Bort mountain station to Grindelwald village), Mountain Cart ride (from Schreckfeld mountain station to Bort station), Toboggan/ Rodelbahn/ Alpine Slide, Zip-lines and numerous beautiful hiking trails.

Wow! 🤩 I just came from Zurich and tried to see as much Switzerland as possible in 5 days, I was also in Grindelwald, but not in Grindelwald First. Breathtakingly beautiful mountain scenery, and a beautiful village . But I wouldn't have wanted to drive down the hill with this machine 😀😀 Thanks for the nice video and beautiful views! 💚

@@AKSense I think I've been to all the countries around Switzerland, but dessert (Switzerland 😊) still comes last 😀😀. Switzerland is a beautiful, clean, well-kept country with hardworking people. We made the most of these days (this time I traveled with my daughter), but there was not enough time 😥 We took with us unforgettable memories.. Engelberg,Titlis, Grindelwald, Interlaken, Lucerne, of course Zurich 🤗💛 Several unexpected things also happened, as usual 😊😀, I could write a book about them 😀😀. But everything ended well and the trip was really nice. Thank you wonderful Switzerland! 🙏💚💛💙

Using brakes all the time and going walking pace it is as hazardious as driving a rally car slowly with only 1st gear. 😉That track is unfortunately very short and it has a lot of asphalt which makes possible to get HIGH speed! On gravel it goes easily over 40km/h but on asphalt.. well.. check brakes and wheel bearings before letting it all loose! 😛

No, just middle station. From the middle station, one can have another fun ride on Trottibike (video available on our channel), which goes down to the base station.
Dude, what a snail pace! A bunch of ”grannies” doing mountain carts.. 🙄was expecting ”fast and furious”! Mountain carts are the best fun of the Alps, but You need to have a speedy adrenalin rush. This was just a (expensive) scenic, sightseeing, run… what a bummer! 🤦♀
My question to the quide at the beginning would have been: ”What is the record time?” 😁
Well, when one wants to shoot a *better video with the ambience*, an optimum speed is to be chosen. We had shot this cart at almost free ride as well (least brake, except curves) where camera angle shifted a lot and had spoilt the shot. You can compare this video with yours and figure out the difference in quality 😊
(2 Cents: everyone in the world doesn’t think the same way (as you or me might be thinking), and each one wants to have an experience based on his/her comfort)
@@AKSense Yep, I know that my video quality is crap. Total shit. Scheisse. Paskaa! No worries; I just ”bank” some (low quality) shots into Tube. I bet that I have been commenting, with high praise, some (probably many) of Your videos before because The High Quality and the scenic atmosphere! 🤩👍
But (there’s always that but!) I didn’t comment the quality bad way even this time.. just quantity.. also I know that my cent is mine to bare.. still going about walking speed, downhill, with mountain cart 😆 It is grandma style!
I love Alps.. scenery, mountains and all the green. Also love to slowly cycling UP with road bike just to get rush speeding down. Mountain carts are a special fun to have with speed! Perhaps The Special fun.. at least much more fun going sliding bends than security of summer sleds.. (which are also fun if get down without using brakes behind some granny stylist)
As I don’t want have any extra views by Your highly wayyyyy better site I already deleted that my video link; as it was put in kinda hope that You might see the difference in speed and athmospere.. (not quality because mine was crap even to be compared) and it has now been noted. 😁
