The white deer blends in against the white flocked tree and its hard to make out from a distance. It was pretty close up, so perhaps you can add something behind the reindeer to help it pop and clearly defined as the tree topper instead of a white blob amongst other white-ish blobs.
@Teresa White, Good feedback Teresa. I'm not sure if you can see the thumb photo of the topper but I actually did exactly what you are suggesting by adding a dark charcoal velvet ribbon behind the reindeer. When you see the final walkthrough of my home you'll get a better view of how it turned out in the end. Thanks for the suggestion. Its was a good one :-) RR

I LOVE the tree topper! I particularly like the direction this tree is headed this year as my main, living room tree is usually done in silver, gold and crystal! So, of course, I LOVE this tree's theme this year!

I love the idea of being unique and creative when it comes to decorating a tree, especially the tree topper....love the unexpected aspect...not the usual star on top...one could use an item on hand, or find a one of a kind decoration and incorporate into their own topper! Will try this idea for 2017!

Love it!!. I have always done a one piece topper on my tree either an angel or a star. I never thought of doing pieces to cover the top like that. My tree will never look the same again after all your great hints and ideas from this years videos. Can't wait until remembrance day so I can start decorating.

I have an angel that my late sister gave me which goes on top of the tree every year, it's that special - matte gold crinkled paper gown and old gold wings...but I might just do more with her this year, make a tree topper with her. Nice vid as always, thanks Rebecca xx

Cameraman...that tree topper is GORGEOUS!! I really love the reindeer motif that seems to be EVERYWHERE this year!! It's so pretty with the glass or acrylic reindeer especially. I do love the fur that seems to be everywhere and the feathers. All these great options!! I'll need to stock up at the after Christmas sales!!

I love it, I'm all about decorating with deer for Christmas! I never thought about using one for a tree topper.
I would have never thought of a reindeer as a topper for a Christmas tree, such a great and clever idea! Hopefully I can use one for mine this year, although I think I'd be too afraid of it randomly falling over and shattering.

Looks fantastic! Great tip about putting the topper on before the ornaments. I have a topper that has the metal spiral cone at the bottom of it and I can never secure it correctly on top of the tree (kind of heavy). Do you have any tips for me?
