That kit came out really nice and did a great job sir. None of these videos show how the front bumper mounts to the new tubular front end. Do you have any pictures that you can post up or maybe a video of it?
It’s uses the same original mounting bolts that came with the car. The tube front end has mounting tabs for the stock clips and bolts in the same location
Could you have drilled some holes up top and threw some plug welds on it? The one with a gap I would have welded a plate to the top of the front end piece. It would have filled in that gap. I like your videos. Everything you have done are things that I am planning to do, so it’s nice to have a visual of what’s to come and issues that may come up. 👍
Destroyed the structural support of the strut towers.... Grind the spot welds off and remove the sheet metal. No need to cut into them. Only need to cut frame. Did you level the car? Where did you level it at. Noticed it was on the tires and not stands under the frame
Just stumbled across the vid. I just got my front recently. It is bolted and clamped until someone better at welding handles it. What was your idea for the wiring harness. I thought about using j clamps where the fender brackets were. Trying to make the light harness nice and hidden the best you can. Any ideas?
Mine will only have a couple wires for the front lights and radiator fans. Not sure yet though. Haven’t got to that part yet. Either what your thinking with j clamps or something similar
Anything. Let me know if you have any other questions. The front end was a very nice kit and a pretty simple install that took me about a day to do it from start to finish.
I had this front end, roll cage and through the floor frame connectors all shipped together. I think it was close to $300 for all of that. If I remember correctly. 👍
@@crusadergarage298 just got my kit in a few days ago, got the welded kit for 878 shipped, team z was nice enough to give me 10% off early instead of waiting for their black Friday sale
Not sure. You might be able to attach them to the round tubes. Just not sure how it would look. I’m sure there is a way to do it. It would just take some fabrication skills
That looks fantastic and your detailed comments are very helpful. Thanks for making this video!

Yeah. There is a couple ways you could do it. Thanks for watching. More to come. 👍
Looking awesome. Can’t wait to see the finished product
You and me both. Thanks for watching.
Awesome job. Thank you for a simple yet complete video.
Thanks for watching 👍

Good luck brother. Hope all is well. Yes always family first.
@@crusadergarage298 def good lol , jus life and mother nature trying us lol , thx for asking
Glad you actually showed the top strut tower corners you cut. I have a sick ass gap on my driver side also, but mine is much worse
Mine was just small enough that I could weld the gap shut. Just weld on a small piece of metal to extend that part to fill the gap.
@Crusader Garage yea that's the plan

Great video and great explanation. Street Car? I assume this required a battery relocation? If so will you be doing a rear power cutoff switch?
Yes. I’m actually installing one this week so I can go racing.
Looks great!! What are the advantages of doing this?? Thanks for the videos!
Drops some weight off the front end. Opens up the engine bay a little for piping and added air flow. Just to name a few.
Did you weigh your chopped off metal versus their kit to see Your actual weight savings?
I didn’t.
Thanks for the very helpful info.
Thanks for watching
Instead of using the front bumper bar, can you use the factory bumper? I have a 4eye and the lights are in the bumper
Honestly I’m not sure. You might have to weld on some attachments to that bumper bar, for the lights. 🤷

Did you weigh old vs new?
Sorry I did not.
Shipped Straight to your door ?
Yes it shipped to my house, came on a pallet with the roll cage, and the frame connectors.
Might be a dumb question but what do you do about the hood latch? Just ordered my kit and trying to game plan to have everything ready?
My car did not have one on it before. Just used hood pins. But now I have to figure out how to mount the hood pins or get duz fasteners for the hood.
@@crusadergarage298 thanks for your help! Your videos help out a lot .
Anytime brother. I’m always here to help when I can. And thanks for watching.
Did you mig the whole thing ? If so what type of wire did you use ?
I did. I think I have ER70S-6 .030 wire in my mig welder.
Okay are the plates that actually weld to the frame mild steel or are they chromoly ?
The plates are mild steel. The tubing and the rest is CM.
Thanks
