    What a beautiful place to drive a fantastic car! Thanks for some great videos (sorry I only understand the English ones). I get my Coupe 85x in a couple of months and can't wait. 😎

    Congrats on the new car, good video's you make. Just ordered a 85, due to be delivered in about 20 weeks. Having seen most of your video's, still looking for a video that show the different background options of the entertainment system, most videos on software 4.0 seem to have the default kind of blurres clouds. Very curious what the other backgrounds look like as i am a fan of dark mode backgrounds and navigation style 😁

    Beutiful scenery, I do love the Alps! And the colour of the new car. I am currently debating whether to change to an Enyaq 85 from a 60

    Compliments! 👍Good video Matthias and no need to defend your enthusiasm on the major improvements you experience. MY24 apparently brings essential improvements and you’ll tell us about the flaws in due course. Balanced and honest as always.
    Since you also drove the previous model It would be interesting to know if you find that Skoda now solved all of the problems you experienced in the past. Could you cover that in one of the coming videos?

    Thanks for your videos! I see them all the time.
    I’ve had 2 Enyaq just like you. First MY 2021, and then I got my MY 2024 one month ago. I use Travel assist almost all the time and I think there are 2 things they could improve with it. First I think it would be much safer if there was an audible warning when it looses the “lock on” the lane. I know it’s me as a driver that is responsible for driving, but it would help. The second thing is that I really would appreciate the visual warning that I have to touch steering wheel with my hands in the HUD. Now it’s only in the small screen.
    Sincerely/ Fredrik

    I think it would be interesting to see the efficiency differences in different driving modes/hypermiling, etc... Even if you're not a perfect test driver, seeing what is achievable by the 'average Joe' would be great.
    Keep up the great work!

      I too would be interested in the different driving modes efficiency. I do love your car Mattias (Did I get the spelling right?) that orange colour is just great. Wish I could have got that on the L&K I've ordered.

      I would find it interesting to know what the Eco mode saves in comparison with Normal mode. Besides limiting the maximum speed and acceleration I can’t detect real differences.

    My 85x has a horrible reflection from the dashbord. I can literally count every single hole in the speaker. It's really driving me crazy. Found that using polarized sunglasses helps a lot, but unfortunately the heads up display is then harder to see as well.

    Thanks for the video! So did you change your point of view about D vs B mode driving and energy recovery?

    • @electrifiedspeicher
      @electrifiedspeicher  Місяць тому +2

      I always love to drive in B because I love one pedal driving...but in D you can go more efficient. That's what I will try next

    One big difference to your new Enyaq compared to all other other MEB I have seen reviewed with obd reader is the high energy content in the traction battery of your car. In your last video when at 100% it was around 78kwh. All other MEB I have seen reviewed (including updated ID.4) they are around 74-75kwh when charged to 100%. Do you remember the values of your old Enyaq? Have they changed battery provider or done something else with the RS battery?

    • @electrifiedspeicher
      @electrifiedspeicher  Місяць тому

      The 2024 AWD ENYAQ (85x and RS) have an improved battery chemistry but the supplier should still be the same. But I can remember a value of around 76.5kWh with my 80x in the first month

    Hi Matthias
    Is the linked Vgate iCar Pro OBD adapter your best recomendation for the Enyaq 85?
    all the best

    • @electrifiedspeicher
      @electrifiedspeicher  Місяць тому

      I'll use it all the time. There might be better OBD adapters out there but I don't know them. For me this one works fine. Please be advised that this adapter cannot awaken from "deep sleep", so when your car is turned off and go into sleep after around 20 minutes so does the adapter. When you start the car again you need to unplug and plug the adapter back in again.

    Could you ask the factory about lead times on delivery? I ordered my Enyaq in December. I was originally told it was being made in April. Then it changed to June, there is talk of it moving again. Why? I’m in GB. I ordered an 85x Sportline in dark grey

    Another speculation: Does stronger motors give higher recuperation? And this could explain the big difference in your test? Batterylife tested Enyaq 80 vs 85 at the same time on autobahn and the difference was less then 5% between the cars. And at 130km/h on autobahn I guess there is not much recuperation.

    • @electrifiedspeicher
      @electrifiedspeicher  Місяць тому +1

      It should not but that is worth a test :) On the autobahn the higher speed and thus the higher wind resistance will eat up most of the efficiency gain I would assume
