  • In this video I make a kuksa mug on the lathe. Usually this is made using hand carving knives. But I thought it would be a good challenge to make it on a lathe. It actually involved a few really interesting techniques. I made it out of basswood.
    Tools and materials I propose:
    Lathe: amzn.to/2yq4bMI
    Wood turning tools set: amzn.to/2pH5K59
    Chuck kit: amzn.to/2NLQG55
    Tormek T8 Sharpening System: amzn.to/334j2Mz
    Tormek Woodturner’s Kit: amzn.to/3w11xcs
    Table saw: amzn.to/2RBf0nT
    Flexcut starter carving set: amzn.to/38SH6GB
Pyrography Pen Wood Burning Kit: amzn.to/3GOwGpB
    Buffing kit: amzn.to/2yfVjKB

Thank you. I think it comes from Ukrania. But many other cultures have kuksas, especially in Asia.

Thank you. It is a really nice burner. Only thing I don't like is the tips. Other machines are more versatile on the subject.

Μπορείς να την περάσεις πόσιμο παραφινέλαιο. Θα το βρεις στο φαρμακείο. Αν και κάποια στιγμή αν βάζεις υγρά θα ανοίξει!
