I haven't watched your videos of the most recent iteration yet, but I'm in it for the 2005 journey for sure! Excited to follow you as you get from Ecclestone back to Gatwa.
U.K. viewer here. Just stumbled upon your Doctor Who reaction and have instantly subscribed! Glad you enjoyed the episode. Back in 1970, at the start of the third Doctor’s era, he first met this enemy, the Nestene Consciousness, who tried twice to invade Earth with these plastic dummies (called Autons), so it was neat that the show runner, Russell T. Davies decided to bring them back for the 9th Doctor to fight against! In the 3rd Doctor’s first encounter with them, the Autons bursting through the glass windows of the department store was done off screen (they didn’t have the budget to do the glass smashing then) so it was great to see it finally happen here! Fun fact: Clive mentioning The Doctor being present at the Kennedy assassination is a little nod to the fact that, in real life, the day after the assassination, Saturday, 23rd November 1963, was when the very first episode of Doctor Who aired on the BBC. Worried that not enough viewers had watched the first episode because of the mass coverage and aftermath of the assassination, the BBC took the unprecedented step of repeating the first episode again, on the following Saturday, right before episode 2 aired. As you’re probably aware by now (being so many episodes ahead), Doctor Who can make you laugh one minute, terrify you the next or have you crying about a character or a situation you’re invested in. Buckle up, sit back and enjoy this rollercoaster of a ride!
Oh...episode 12 had me gagged!! I was like they couldn't do that!! The empty child was creepy AF. These series never lets you get comfortable. Love it!
Anywhere in time and space? Let’s travel together Yutaka! I can’t wait for you to see all of what this series has to fully offer! The series that can literally be ANY genre it requires!
The current series is OK, but this is OUTSTANDING ...! Award winning stories, ratings up to 14 million... loads of Spon off shows due to its popularity.... just wait
So many people going back to watch the previous seasons after watching the new Disney plus one and I’m glad. I know you’ll enjoy it. Yes, it’s campy but this came out in 2005, so of course cgi and effects aren’t what it is now. Still pretty good for 2005 though. I can’t wait to go on this long journey with you, hope your ready to stick it out. Doctor Who is quite the commitment, SO much content ( including spin-off shows as well). 😃
LMAO!! I didn't expect to have so much fun. Thanks for the sub! Full transparency, this was to promote the patreon that I've launched. It has full length commentaries to the episode leading up to live finale watch alongs.
My patreon launches soon, so I already have the first 12 episodes watched/recorded. The problem is I know have to wait weeks until it's time for the finale because that's gonna be a live watch along. Ep 12 left me gagged. 😭😭😭😭 Thanks for watching!!
Oh I'm definitely aware of the previous series. They're all connected. 600+ episodes versus 170+ seemed less daunting. If I said reboot, I meant relaunch. Thanks for watching!
@mikenelson3632 Alittle harsh since this is his first watch give him a break I had the same feeling with Mickey on my very first watch back in 2005 but later warmed up to him.

I'm sorry I was late, but I'm here now!!
i really loved your rection! i hope you continue the journey!
Spoiler. 12 full length reaction/commentary have been filmed 😂
Yutaka I'm so happy you're doing this! It was time for my rewatch! Love you
Thanks!! I was nervous about starting a patreon like this. It's very daunting.
RIP clive... they did him DIRTY
I was so upset!!!
you're lucky i don't dislike this video for the Jackie slander alone!!!!
Bahahaha!!! It was my first time, I didn't know the icon she'd become.
Let the journey begin!!
I'm strapped in and ready!!
Anywhere in time and space? Let’s travel together Yutaka! I can’t wait for you to see all of what this series has to fully offer! The series that can literally be ANY genre it requires!
Ha!! I'm desperately wanting it to be 3 weeks from now so I can watch episode 13!
The current series is OK, but this is OUTSTANDING ...! Award winning stories, ratings up to 14 million... loads of Spon off shows due to its popularity.... just wait
Jackie and Micky go through big changes via the Doctor.
Oh I warmed up to them much later on in the series.
Oh we are sat for you and some Who! 💜
I'm absolutely obsessed and The Doctor is so damn charming!
So excited for your journey into Who
You're gonna love it because I'm having so much with the series.
And so it begins...
ha! It does!

Oh...well the patreon has already been created, and 12 full length reactions done. Trust me, I plan to go through all 14 seasons and torchwood.

Your "WOW" reaction at the end might have been kind of Camp, but so is the show. You're in sinc already.

Another reactor is beginning the journey!
Let's go!
Yup! More like commentary because my buddy George was so kind to put this part together. Either way, this series is wild.
i already love this
Ha! Thank you! I'm floored how much the series has sucked me in.
Watching dr who? Subscription clicked
Haha! Well thanks. That's more of a teaser of my patreon. I'm doing full length commentaries, but I think I'll do a full review after each season.
I did laugh at you not caring if Jackie died - I promise you will come to care for Rose's iconic mum 😂
Oh my opinion definitely did change later on.
This gonna be good homie!
Thanks!! Pretty excited about this journey!
The 2005 series is a revival (as in a continuation of the original series) not a reboot (where the “story” is begun again)
I'm a new whovian. I'm slowly learning. :)
YEEHAW
This American doesn't know what he got himself into. lol
@@ohsukahI hope you enjoy😊

I'm trying but this is so beyond camp and the practicals... whew. I just dunno. Your react was fun, tho, lol
Aww thanks!!
The body count is high in this show
I've got up to episode 12 already filmed for the patreon. Trust me, I know. 😭
@@ohsukahdon't forget the "Born Again" minisode after ep13 but before The christmas invasion then !
It's a relaunch not a reboot. Might sound pedantic, but the it's important to note it's same continuity as the original.
Oh I'm definitely aware of the previous series. They're all connected. 600+ episodes versus 170+ seemed less daunting. If I said reboot, I meant relaunch. Thanks for watching!

Mikey is & always will be dead weight! 😂 This is best place for a new to who person to start 💙
Bahaha!!! I was not a fan because he was just holding Rose back!
I was wondering if you were considering evenually watching classic who.
That is a tall order as I've only just started, but I won't rule it later down the line.
@@ohsukah oh sorry. I didn't mean it right away. I meant once you were very much down the line😊
The reboot starts off OK, gets super good, goes downhill, gets super bad with Nurse What and now it's Disney bad.
We might differ on that because it was the most recent continuation that made me realize I need to go back and watch more of the series.
@@ohsukah You didn't watch the BBC destroy 60 years like they were Disney butt raping Star Wars to death.
I don't intend to be mean but just being a nerd and noting it out that while many may call it reboot, it's more of a revival/soft reboot
That's what I'm learning. I'm new to the universe, but I think I'm gonna like it here.
@@ohsukah nice to hear!, welcome to the community of viewers!
It grieves me that I had to give a thumbs down for your absolutely despicable treatment of Mickey he reacted the way most people would
I judged a book by its cover. The doctor does the same, but like the doctor. I warm up to him in later episodes.
Micky is a black kid in London and immature certainly but he definitely comes into his own.
