After almost 2 years, it's FINALLY here! Join us for a glimpse in to our lives as we struggle our way through the challenges of turning 215 acres in to our forever homestead! Concrete is officially poured! Footers are in and we should pour the basement walls/slab sometime in the next couple weeks! Tbh I absolutely love Genay, especially the videos on antique shopping & showing off the decluttering/her crystal etc, made me feel excited to do something again after everything this year, & possibly a way to work on walking for my pinched nerves, by going around antique shops! Yall are both definitely stars in your own rights, we just need more Genay now lol. Gotta get her own fan club growing!

I'm so excited to see Genay give us a look at her thought process for gardening in the future. I wanna know more about canning and preserving too, like maybe one day we can see them make homemade Jerky. I love the dynamic between Toonz and Genay but I am so happy Genay is getting more confident being in front of the camera by herself because we can still hang around when Toonz is asleep. Genay... Was I the only one unnerved when she was gesturing with her hands while she was driving... I got so real anxiety there lol. Its cool of you two to share the process with us so thank you for letting us join you for the journey... Though in spirit.
As a civil engineer its neat to see someone filming part of my job stuff and people watching (I sample materials and do test on them to make sure for example the concrete was the proper mix to hold the weight it needs to )

I’ve always enjoyed the gameplay and the commentary and I’ve done some Sheetrock myself and some plumbing before the frame work and I enjoy the content and the commentary in these videos it’s great and credit to the editor for the animations the B roll and the sound track it’s all great and well put together this Chanel deserves more love and let me tell you those boys workin there ass off to get all that set in a day looks great cartoons the concrete looks good no cracks and no visible salt rock on top
And idk if you know but on the main Chanel someone is trying to scam the viewers out of 150$ saying it’s a giveaway I suggest you make this aware to everyone on the main Chanel
The footprint of the house there looks really cool and good so far! Can't wait to see it all come together. I'm hoping that one day I'd be able to build my own as well but for now that's a long term goal. Hoping the rest of the process is smooth sailing for you guys

I remember when I did a DEP course to become a Blue Printer. Someone who does the plans for a house/building and one of the first thing we got taught was the footers. I remember it like it was yesterday. It's so cool seeing it for your house Cartoonz and Genay. Can't wait for more of the update of the house.

Backstory, I'm a concrete truck driver, and the concrete legitimately does need to cure for at least a week before adding onto it to ensure strength. It can be poured earlier, but it does open the door for strength issues and cracking in the future.
Now I know what the true foundation looks like for a house kinda cool

They probably put cure and seal on it and they will put it on the rest of the concrete as well. Be sure that they water proof your basement walls a great product we use here in Arkansas is HLM 5000, it’s a great water proofing product

You're not the only one. I was eyeballing that kit the whole time he was in his truck. And it looks to be fitted with a DBAL as well.
The footer helps the house not float away too. Lol. That is the last thing you want. I am glad it’s coming together for you guys.
