And have been working within the financial services industry for more than 14 years But no longer want to continue in the industry and was interested in ship chartering..yes a difficult decission to be made in your 40s Is it possible for a non ship background person get in to ship chartering and how can one transition into it.. Please sir I will love to know if I can become self employed after graduating if it happens that I couldn't secure paid employment because most of my senior colleagues are of the opinion that you need connections in the marine industry before securing a paid employment. So am thinking what aspect of can I choose if I want to be self employed
