    Mashaa Allah, Baaji God bless you for this new way of cleaning asli mitti ke bartan.
    Apne town main yahaan ik traditional kumhaar hai, jis se yeh chatti/ handi/ kulhad/ gamle/ surahi/ matke kai generations se banate aaye hain.
    Woh potters hi jaante hain ki woh clay mitti kahan milti hai. Is garmi main Simla ki taraf kooch karne waale Potters hill ka ek gedaa zaroor lagayenge, pichle 800 saalon se yahan ke locals iss jagah ke bartanon main khaate aaye hain.
    Woh bartan bilkul UNGLAZED and unpainted hain, kyonki pahariyon ko khaana banaane se matlab hai, zehreele paint polish main nahin jo modern chonchla hai.
    Maine unse poocha, baba maana aapne daal chawal iss handi main se nikaalkar lunch ke liye khaaya par aap isko saaf kaise karte hain? Daal chawal neeche lage honge. Ya sabji ya jo bhi.
    TIPS- Old is Gold!
    Unhonen jawaab diya- Unki language, mera style-
    Jab nayi handi khareedo, acchi tarah dhokar dheemi aag pe paani daalkar pakao. Paani jab ubal jaaye, to sarson ke tel se andar ki deewaron pe haath maar lo.
    Pehla dish Curry ka banao, dahi se chiknai aa jayegi ur yeh hamesha ke liye aasani se saaf ho jaayega.
    Khaana banaane se pehle bartan dhowo, aur khaali kabhi bhi chulhe par nahin rakhna. Pehle pani/ tel bartan main daalna aur slow heat pe cooking karna.
    Jab meat ka saalan bana ho, to poore bartan ko khaali karke garam paani daalkar ek gedaa aur de do. Aas paas chiknahat waala paani ko waste nahin karna! aakhir usme ghee, masaale, meat etc ke saare benefits hain. Phir raakh/ sand ya namak ko hatheli pe rakhke naariyal ka chilka leke scrub karo.
    I think this is the most natural way of scrubbing mitti bartan which people have been doing for centuries without chemicals. Sab chiknai khatam ho jayegi.
    Agar sookhi sabzi banai aur woh bartan main lag gayi, to hot water daal ke rakh den. 2 ghante baad aakar bartan ragad len aur dhoop main rakh den.
    I think these Tips Can come in useful for everyone who watches this very helpful video. Mere paas 3 handiyaan hain. Abhi ek main qeema banane jaa raha hoon. Keema paranthas ka man kar raha hai!
    Jab qeema ban jayega to main garam paani aur ret se andar ki chiknai desi ghee waali ko bilkul saaf kar doonga. Bhai, Potters hill aur hamare watan main pichle 8000 saalon se issi se tandarust rahen hain apne buzurg, to teflon coated poisonous plastic aluminium cooking bartans ko baahir phenke because the Westerners want to kill themselves, ham unke foolishness ko kyon apnaayen?

    Bhool gaye ke mitti ke handi- 20/30 Rs waale se tandurusti ki rakhshaa sadiyon se hoti thi.
    Ab teflon poisons se aaye din pet dard, headaches etc etc shuru. Also shuru doctoron ke yahan chakkar phir shuru zehreele allopathic dawaaiyan ke chakkar kyonki yeh modern dawai hai na ham modern hain, ham bhi logon ko dikhaana chaahte hain ki
    'bhai iss mahine 20 baari arspataal gaye, aur 50 goliyan khaayin. Doctor saahib bahut acche hain, har visit pe alag alag goliyaan de dete hain, bolte hain isse try karo, agar fark nahin pada, 4 dinon main aana main koi aur idea soch ke rakhoonga. Bill banaana bhai, inkaa, 4 dinon main phir aayenge.'
    Bhai sambha, goliyaan khaane ka itna shauk hai, modern banne ki chakkar main, to Gabbar ki ek goli khaake poora tanta ekdam kyon nahin khatam kar lete?

    Please let me know if the mitti ka bartan has developed fungus what shall we do? is it still usable after some treatment or should we just throw it? I am asking this question as I am currently abroad and have only few earthern pots with me. May please help.

      Yaad karke khaali bartan stove pe nahin rakhenge.
      Sab ingredients (tel paani masala etc) neeche bartan main mix karen phir stove pe rakhen. Boil/ fry apne aap hi hoga. Kuch khaana tab lagta hai jab paani/ tel na ho bartan main.

So concentrated HCL ki baat sunte hi God forbid, La'aul w'laah kuwwat ki feeling hui. Aap padhe likhe ho. Internet ke Webqoof nahin ho jo har kissi ki baat maan leta hai. . Un bewqoofon ka koi ilaaj nahin jo sochte hain bhai net pe likha hai, sach hi hoga. .

      @@djs9415 hey doc if you have an allergic with HCL you can replace it with highly concentrated Sulphuric Acid or Nitric Acid both are equally effective and good at work...

You personally can wash it with Harpic, turpentine oil, furniture varnish or Baygon because your mind works that way. Go right ahead. Just Don't waste other people's time with such ridiculous suggestions.
      Next time you are in your chemistry Lab at School do put a drop of concentrated HCL on your hand ,suffer a permanent non healing burn because laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahin maante and you cannot be taught sense until proven. Acids are lethal jaanleva but why should you do any parwah? For you life is all hiii hiiii hii haa haa haa haa.
      This absurd childish discussion is now closed from my side. I really don't have time to waste on someone who has stopped amusing me.
