I'm absolutely obsessed with so much of their music. They hit some deep obscure feelings. Best I can describe it. This type of music never disappeared in Europe, it just progressed, it's not just an 80's thing.
One of the most perfect songs ever made. I love the lyrics - so original yet they speak to all of us. "I'll be the king of the carpool" is just a brilliant lyric that sum sup modern life, broken dream, succumbing to normality (to me anyway). Genius
Youxd likely love these songs then (and listen to It's Immaterial if you havenxt, itxs Black Marble's best lyrical and most atmospheric album): -The Feelies- "It's Only Life" -Wild Nothing, "Nocturne" -Chromatics, "The Page" -Desire, "Bizarre Love Triangle" -New Order, "Theives Like Us" -The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, "Ramona" -The Drums, "The Future" -Book Of Love, "You Look Through Me" -Craft Spells, "You Should Close the Door" -Vampire Weekend, "M79" -Beach Fossils, "What A Pleasure" -NEON INDIAN, "Fallout"
had an inpatient stay at a mental health facility last august. for some reason they let us have the remote to the tv, it was my turn to have the remote so i put this on. it made me feel a little like i was at home in a place that was so extremely unfamiliar and uncomfortable to be in. love ❤️
@@Riddickisawesome101 oh yes! it means the signal going into the console (a studio board, audio interface, laptop, whatever) is getting tiny bit distorted, not to the point where it's noisy, but it can give a nice sound. in the analog world, you do this by setting the gain/input a little too high so it's clipping. there are a lot of digital effects that can do the same. heavy saturation will do if you're recording. sorry if this is over-explaining!

I say dress how you wanna dress but I wouldn't pay big money for some guys in t-shirt in jeans. I'll pay maybe $20 the most. For daft punk, I will definitely pay over a $100 to see them.
Black Marble is like a never ending hazy 80s childhood dream.
Love that description!
Are you going to see them in Brooklyn? I am so happy and excited lmao.
Totally

The repeating arpeggio makes me want to party or take a drive
Can anybody explain how they play this live? Like equipment wise and how they’re triggering sequences
How does he process vocals like this live?

Have to work early in the morning, totally worth it 😝

Does anybody know the vocal effects he’s using? Would it be possible to achieve a similar sound through a pedal?
saturation or otherwise running the vocals hot, delay around 50-100ms, bit of phaser
@@tophergonzales6778 thank you. What does running the vocals hot mean?

Eae suzi, vc ainda ouve frisk?
How can they do these vocals?
Thalysson Cavalcante they are using vocal effects an echo and ambient one i presume
かっこいいな
What sampler are they using for the beats?
jason sudeikis on vox
Notwist poster shpotted!
"Cold wave"?
This song is more like dream pop but they usually sound cold wave
Is dream pop a sort of candy?
+Kenny Bressler Dream Pop is candy for the ears. Listen to Cocteau Twins, or Chameleons Uk. Or The Bilinda Butchers.
The chameleons are totally dream pop!
i always thought of the chameleons as a post-punk band, but dream pop totally fits the bill as well

The music sounds great but a little disappointed that they don't have style. I was hoping to see rolled up sleeves and cool shades. smh
