@@apratimdutta5858 Nothing, Dan Houser wasn't the only one in charge of writing GTA's (and other Rockstar Games) storylines. There are still a lot of veteran writers left in the company like Michael Unsworth and Rupert Humphries (This two were head writers of RDR2 alongside Dan).
GTA 4 was a trilogy in itself. I love how Rockstar made 2 DLCs that were basically their own stand-alone game and how they connected to each other. Rockstar knew what they were doing back in the day
Luis is the only protagonist out of the GTA 4 trilogy to have a happy ending, no one close to him died or anything, and he seems to be living the good life of sorts.
Oh well, but Niko too isn't doing so badly 😉 foremost ROMAN his last relative remaining besides his mother Milica, who's Roman's aunt (while Luis' father, brother and sister are still living...but don't seem to matter to him, only his mother Adriana), a circle of friends (Jacob, Brucie, Packie, Dwayne), pair of "girlfriends" (Carmen and Kiki), PlayboyX's ATTIC (North Holland) and the suite purchased by Roman (Middle Park East) plus two other small apartments (South Bohan and Alderney City) 😎 Not to mention how many crime bosses and gangsters - FILED along the alphabetical database of Lcpd website - gets rid of, during about 1/3 of storyline missions 😏
As TBoGT being the climax of GTA 4 saga, this is the perfect ending. Relieving all of the sad and dark story from the main GTA 4 and TLaD. It's just fun. Arguably the best GTA ever made.

Yeah, its kinda lame his references back to IV. I suppose logically on the way to a heist, he wouldn't go in much detail, its not like the other members care a ton about his friends, just his general story. But for the player, it doesn't say much. I do think Packie probably leaves Niko, Packie still wants to commit crimes, Niko doesn't after IV. But would Packie dislike Niko for doing that, maybe but I don't think so. And idk why he would assume Niko is dead. Maybe its to cope not having him as a friend, he doesn't want to think him still being out there living a more normal life.

I think they were immediately working on V after IV was released so they had plans. Whereas after V, they were making RDR2 so they probably didn't have big plans for GTA VI during V's development. IV even has an area near Hove Beach, you can find a wall with Los Santos from GTA SA on it. Whether this was just a reference to previous game or a hint at GTA V, I think its a bit of both. There's also a plane on it flying towards the city and a Hydra, it looks very similar to parts near the end of the GTA V first trailer.

Yeah I wonder if these credits take place during 2008 like the story or if it could be later anytime. The first time you find Packie in V, it seems to suggest he's somewhat new to Los Santos so he couldn't have moved there in 2008. Maybe he spent time in other places but obviously these credits were to suggest he is in GTA V. Btw the suggestion that he is new there is that the guy he is robbing the store with is the only guy he knows in LS. I don't think that would be the case if he was there for 5 years since IV.
Man, I remember I had this game on the ps3 both dlcs like 7 years ago. I remembered the game and bought it for my Xbox one and just finished completing tbogt. Edit: I had it on a ps3 but 3 years ago I switched to Xbox one and didn’t have the game. Then discovered that I can buy the 360 version and it would work on my Xbox one. So I bought it! And tbogt also. Love this game!

Yes they did. On a page for GTA V characters, it says that in an interview with IGN, Dan Howser confirmed that Packie would not be in it. Just search GTA V characters and it should be the first result. At the bottom it says all of this.

Yeah I wonder if these credits take place during 2008 like the story or if it could be later anytime. The first time you find Packie in V, it seems to suggest he's somewhat new to Los Santos so he couldn't have moved there in 2008. Maybe he spent time in other places but obviously these credits were to suggest he is in GTA V. Btw the suggestion that he is new there is that the guy he is robbing the store with is the only guy he knows in LS. I don't think that would be the case if he was there for 5 years since IV.

Man, I remember I had this game on the ps3 both dlcs like 7 years ago. I remembered the game and bought it for my Xbox one and just finished completing tbogt.
Edit: I had it on a ps3 but 3 years ago I switched to Xbox one and didn’t have the game. Then discovered that I can buy the 360 version and it would work on my Xbox one. So I bought it! And tbogt also. Love this game!

If you look closely at the plane's runway at 14:00 you will see red lights formed into a 'V' shape! (GTA V) ;)
The plane with Packie inside flys above an arrow shaped like the letter V. It could be a coincidence but I think rockstar was trying to hint that Packie will be in gta v
And he sure was, he was a stranger you meet in GTA V and if you help him out he gets to be selected to help with heists

Yes they did. On a page for GTA V characters, it says that in an interview with IGN, Dan Howser confirmed that Packie would not be in it. Just search GTA V characters and it should be the first result. At the bottom it says all of this.

Pretty funny since one of the audio leaked files includes a character from GTA IV (Not going to spoil it because it will most likely still be in the game) Trust me, GTA IV and V are in the same universe, The rest of the GTA games are not, Simple as that.
no other characters from the 3D universe actually (GTA SA, VC, GTA 3 etc) GTA V & GTA IV is in the HD universe which means characters from those two games can appear in both! :)

Rockstar left so many hints about GTA V in TBOGT ending but there is no clue about GTA 6 in GTA V ending
They clearly had GTA V planned before GTA IV released. But with GTA V, they worked on RDR2 after.
after GTA 5 they started working on RD2. if that wasn’t the case we most likely would’ve had GTA 6 hints in the ending of GTA 5 story or better yet GTA 6 would’ve been released for a few years now

That would make for a very different game and I don't think GTA has ever made a main game where the story was so closely tied to the previous game.
