Those models walked in between 2000 and late 2008 are the iconic supermodels. Their walks are so good, trained, compared to current models, dead walk.
Hana Soukupova opening was a total surprise. But she perfectly fits to the music and the show with her graceful walk - like a flying bird. Her walk is fine and distinctive - some new girls shoud learn from her.

I remember the time when some brazilian girls imitated the walk of Gisele back in the 90s. But now I have the feeling the majority of the new girls walk all the same walk. I dont understand whats the point of not showing their personal and unique walk. just look in yt at fendi 1999, all with their own natural walks: kirsten owen, amy wesson, esther canadas, alek wek, jade parfitt, naomi, etc. an ultimate pleasure to watch.
ikr!!! Back in the early 2000s you can distinctly tell which model is walking. Now they all walk the same like they just got circumcised...
ohhh my god aside from the popularity of giselle, carmen kass and franky ryder who can sweep everyone on the runway between the late 90s and early 2000 lets not forget collete and nathalia simanova also erin o connor as well they also open a lot of show and wow the audience with their power walk ... esther canadas is also one of my favorite if she didnt marry to early with a fellow model she would have the same status like giselle
well blame it on the fashion show coordinators and designers i guess the fact they made the runways stage more fabulous than the models walk. thats what make its more model who walk in the runways just doesnt put an art on it cause the choreography of fashion shows nowadays its just boring and no grace.... if you can see they just walk so fast in a hurry and hard for an audience to focus on their clothing pieces cause the fashion show runs so fast compare to the 90s and even in the golden age of fashion show models walk and take a pose and give clothes justice.... now seems like the agency doesnt care if the model can walk as long as its skinny and the sick look is what sells on the runways

The collection is amazing Donatella always gives her all every season. Natasha and MC will be always be my all time favorite love seeing those powerful catwalkers on the runway. Anja does not walk many shows so it is a great surprise to see her at one of my favorite shows. Yasmin and Imaan are my new young generation catwalkers . Will the next collection be done by Riccardo Tisci guess time will tell

you can't ignore looking and appreciating the models in a Versace show. they have always got the fierce look. they are not just hangers but have a personality too. unlike other houses where models are just told to walk like zombies. the clothes look the same like the last season with deep slits and mid riff show but that does not mean they are less sexy. love the hair color coordination with the outfits.

This is a very interesting collection for Versace. I love it. Every piece completely different and unique. Unusual and eye catching silhouettes, fabrics, and colors. You gotta give it to Donatella, she's always pushing forward rather than sticking to one idea of what the brand should look like. This is a bold and exciting collection.

Donatella might be out-of-touch with what's best for the Versace brand, but her creative vision is transparent and has been clear-cut since day 1, decades before run-of-the-mill designers ike Vaulthier came along. Versace has been synonymous with plunging necklines and thigh high slits for decades.
