I get I'm a year late but Broman nearly always fucks up elements its so weird.
And this reminds me too just how INSANELY huge the Leviathan is... and we thought the Dreadnought was huge in the first Destiny, and that also doesn't count Oryx's Ascendant Realm when we would enter it.
They need to have a free roam of the Leviathan
To give you an idea, the Dreadnough is the size of Texas.

Bungie wanted to create an epic raid experience that was shorter than most raids they have developed. This is for people who don't have time to sit and play the main raid for 4-5 hours. They achieved both a short and fun raid experience with this Lair. It's a win in my book.
Christopher Feltner main raid is like 3 hours for the first time, after than it get shorter to like 1 30 minutes. Soon people will complete this in like 30 mins

ArchAngel 5335 there’s a destiny app that you can use to switch items between your character and vault, it makes life much easier
Personally, i like this encounter, because it is creative, and not just solely raw dps, but not 2 puzzlely either. It reminds me of templar, or athean , from my favorite raid, the vault of glass. But, i wish bungie added a full raid with simular encounters like this, and that maybe tied in with mercury a little bit, because it would of drastically improved my opinion of this dlc. Hopefully we get a raid like vault of glass in the future or just add the damn thing back, because that thing was a work of art.

ThisUsernameIs2long not at the beginning, but after Ttk it's when it got really ridiculous. It wasn't too much of a problem because there was a large fanbase. So most of them were cool. I can't speak for D2, as I and other friends left D2. By due to the player base being smaller, I can see people having trouble finding chill groups.
Yup. Ever since running VoG lfg required lvl 30 and Gjallarhorn, which was the hardest rng exotic to get in early D1, and lvl 30 was basically impossible to reach until you'd beaten VoG lol

Sweet Business is... sweet for keeping the crit spots red if an ally ever needs to reload during the bullet showering. Niche, but really effective.

This raid was so easy, me and a friend went on to LFG about 10 minutes before the raid dropped, got a team and finished it 73rd in the world. Now I just dont raid anymore cuz I'm a bitch.
I like how for some reason he thought it would be okay to fall snd hit something at a high rate of speed. This is never been okay in Destiny. Why would you think it is okay when you're being shot out of a gun? Not trying to be a jerk but it did make me laugh.

The raid lair was described by Bungie as being smaller than leviathan, which is only bigger than one previous raid - Crota; so what's smaller than leviathan?
Crota's End can be cleared in as little as 28 minutes if you know what you're doing, so 1hr45 for their first time in an activity that technically only has one boss encounter is realistic.
If you'd followed the reveals you'd only have expected a glorified strike, which is what we got.

Bungie made the raid lair short for people that kept complaining the actual raid is too long and they don't have time for it. So yeah, this is for those people.
