You’ll be paid roughly 35 an hour but you only get paid a day rate so the hourly rate goes down once you have to do all the extras ( cooking , lunches etc ) at the start and end of the day . Roster is usually 4weeks on 2 off , or 2on 1 off u know this family friendly rosters 😂😂. Don’t waste ya time go oil and gas even time roster and much cooler shit tha this , I enjoyed my time doing it with a cool crew but fuck me some rc drillers are absolute cunts who think they are god , I’m a derrickman on a workover rig go do that mate much
Hi@@keithy363.....got some questions, if you don't mind mate. During the weeks on, does one work all days of the week? Or just Monday to Friday? How many hours per day? (Trying to work out possible wages) And if one starts as a driller offsider in mining, can the skills be transferable to oil&gas drilling later? Maybe like after one year experience. Thanks
Onuoha Martins All day everyday of the 2 weeks and nothing u do in minerals is transferable you anything in life , the only thing it does is show u have fifo experience and some heavy industry experience , u got a possible start yet ??

for a temporary cover, it is usually a plastic hole plug filled with dirt so it can be removed. For long term the PVC collar is cut below surface and a concrete plug is used. The concrete usually has the hole details scratched into it and it contains a steel tag ( for metal detection of the collar in future), a back up aluminium tag with the hole id punched or scratched into it and sometimes a 13mm pvc sticking out of it to make it easier to spot as well.
