About the film "Tell the World"
Based on true events, Tell The World shares the compelling story of a small group of farmers from the northeast region of the United States. They set the foundation of an organization that has been at the forefront of issues such as health, education, communication and Biblical interpretation.
The film begins with a startling discovery made by farmer and former militia member William Miller, played by Bill Lake. After years of study, Miller concludes that Jesus will return in 1843. His sermons along with the Biblical and historical evidence were so convincing that thousands of people sold everything, confessed their sins and waited for the event with high expectations. Eventually they settled for a specific date: October 22nd, 1844.
But the day came, and Jesus did not return. In addition to Miller and his wife Lucy, played by Kate Hurman, few people remained faithful to God, among them Ellen Harmon (Tommie Amber-Pirie), James White (Stephen MacDonald) and Joseph Bates (Timothy Paul Coderre).
Produced by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia, the series presents vivid details of the pain and joy experience by writer Ellen G. White, considered one of the 100 most influential people in American history by the Smithsonian Institute.
Her guidance and advice, obtained through Bible studies, as well as dreams and visions revealed by God, guided the steps of the Church in becoming a worldwide movement of compassion in the areas of health, education, community development and relief.
The denomination is present in more than 200 countries with approximately 19.5 million members. It manages thousands of educational and health institutions, food factories, a global humanitarian agency. It also opens a new church every 3 minutes.
Written by H. G. Sloan and Aaron Harzler and directed by Kyle Portbury, with the aid of Allan Lindsay, George Knight and James Nix as consultants, this is the biggest production ever made about the history of Adventism. It shows the harsh beginnings of the church. Uncertainty, doubt, death and poverty were challenges that the pioneers had to overcome.

I am a new Christian, and have attended the Seventh Day Adventist numerous times and I am happy to say that this is my church, I love everything about the truth of the bible and my faith in Jesus is getting stronger every day. I asked God and Jesus for a church to attend and he provided me with a fantastic church with a fantastic doctrine the Seventh Day Adventist. Praise Jesus, Praise God.

I was not raised in a Christian home, at the age of 15 I sought on my own about God, went to many Churches, but never felt right, I prayed very hard that I would know the truth without a doubt, it's a long story, but I was lead to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, The first day attending a Sabbath service, I knew without a doubt that I was home. (I spent from the age of 22 to around my late 30's very much involved with the Church, then after my Mother passed, I developed an attitude, and stopped going, butt I do still believe, as I know the Adventist have the true message. I have been like a wanderer, but I do still believe, this is a true message)

I’m a SDA but it doesn’t define me at all, what I do know is that sabbath is the Saturday and that’s one thing I like about them. Religion isn’t important at all as long as you follow God’s commandments and the Bible and being Christ-like rather than being labeled

I am so very thankful to God our Father and the Lord Jesus for bringing me to the truth. I have fully embraced the sabbath message, and have had to unlearn the error’s that I had initially taken as doctrine. The life story of these great pioneers are not just inspiring but also shows how God works in the lives of His children in times of darkness, confusion, and loss. He was never distant, never absent, and had never turned a blind eye. He was always with them.

I really enjoyed the history of the seventh day Adventist church. I have attended the seven day Adventist church through pastor Tortress and Mrs. Tortress of Eastpoint, Georgia. I never knew how it got started. Praise to the Lord.
I thank God for leading me to this remnant church. Seeing the faith of our pioneers in this film has enhanced and strengthened my faith in God for I knew truly that this is the true church of a God founded by His faithful people with His inspiration. I am so happy and proud to be an adventist.

I was a strong Methodist church believer here in the Islands of Fiji. After finding the truth about the Sabbath through the 10 Commandments in John 14:15, I began to follow it while I was still a Methodist, but after I found the truth about baptism by immersion in Mark 16:16, I knew my Church didn't taught this new doctrine that I had found, therefore my only option was to be Baptised in the Seventh Day Adventist church, for it was available. After four years of asking the Lord on what is His Biblical stand on the Seventh Day Adventist church? I finaly found my peace and my joy after deeply studying the Seventh Day Adventist history and heritage on how and when it started, that it actually corresponds well with Revelation 12, especially with verse 17, whereby the dragon will make war with the remnants of the Woman after 1798 in which the 1260 days prophecy came to its end, the so called dark ages. Whereby those who keep and hold both the Commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ will be the victims of his wroth. A new church of God's Commandment keeping people who holds the Testimony of Jesus will emerge, And it's amazing to look through history and find that it was until the aftermath of 1844 that this light began to take form through these faithful pioneers, true students of the Bible who later named themselves as Seventh Day Adventist church. Now I truly stand proud to be part of God's only Church in this last days, and as the Lord himself said, other sheep that He has in other fold, whom He will call and they will hear His voice and will come to His fold and become one fold. And till today I still endlessly praise God that I heard His call. I was deeply touched by this video. And I praise God for it.

It's seems as if people don't read the bible when it says no one knows the hour or the day when he is coming. This was not a disappointment it is a lesson to learn not to interpret what you don't know. Preach what the Lord teaches to love others and to love God and we will not be disappointed.

I am blessed to be part of the Adventist Church family and I thank God for these wonderful God-fearing pioneers who faithfully played a huge role in shaping the church through the power of God by the leading of the Holy Spirit. @@jennifermiller1932 Hey! I agree there is prevalent apostasy currently in the SDA church, of which the spirit of prophesy testify of. However, one thing i don't agree with is your statement of the SDA not being the "seed of the woman". I do believe that the SDA are the seed or in other terms, the remnant. The woman & her seed are distinguished as those "which keep the commandments of God and the testimonies of Jesus Christ." - Rev 12:17
The faithful members of the SDA churches are not to leave, nay. Rather, they are to stay strong and firm in their beliefs. This should be done because with the commencement of the national Sunday law, there will be a shaking in the church. This shaking spoken of was prophesied in the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25. After those unfaithful members are shaken out of the fold, the church triumphant or those having the seal of the God will receive the latter rain and send forth the loud cry, thus brining sheep of others folds into the fold of God, spoken of in John 10:16.
I believe that the original characteristics and beliefs of the SDA church (which have now been watered down and mingled with heresies) were the necessary truths for this time. Thus. fulfilling the prophecies and the three angels messages of revelation 14. Revival from the Lord is the only thing that can set us right. No amount of "sabbath following", "good eating", "bible study" can fix us. We all need to dig into prayer and plead for God's mercy on us and bring us to walk in His ways, no matter what that looks like. We need to surrender our will to Him and trust Him in all things.
revival is dependent on God to respond, and with that, we have no hope but through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.

I desire to walk in the ways of God the way that God wants me to walk without the blurry confusion of denominational Christianity.
You appear to have a real resentment against SDA. For the record, I am not an SDA.
what I can get behind is people who have a desire to forsake the things of this world and follow after Jesus.
I have read my Bible and I'd like to say I know it pretty well. There are things I can respect about the SDA perspective, and there are many things that I disagree with.

Praise be to God for giving us "Adventists" these blessings that our pioneers had started a long time ago. I am a newly baptized - a five-month and 4 days old Adventist to be exact and at the moment, doing the Lord's work under the ministry of Solid Rock Ministries here in Albay, Philippines. I used to be a Born-Again Christian for 27 years. I thank the Lord for He hath called me and came out from Babylon! Glory to His name! He is so good to all of us, personally, I have seen how He worked in my life. I saw this movie while scrolling on youtube, many times but didn't pay attention to it, however, one day I finally watched it and to my amazement, I can't get enough of just watching it once, my heart is pounding so fast, I feel for those people during the great disappointment, I used to not like Miller for what he has done but I want to ask the Lord for forgiveness for I was a fool to believe my carnal sinful mind, now I finally understood the history and stories of our pioneers. I could tell and defend now those chosen people of God to start His remnant church wherein He is now sifting these last days. I would like to suggest that every church must let their newly baptized brethren watch this movie, for them to know what kind of people initiated the Association, how our pioneers fought so hard to establish a worldwide movement to spread the Word of God and preach His Commandments, His Second Coming. People need to know this; from the perspective of someone who is a baby in this faith, I now know how to defend my faith and my church. All Glory to Him, Alone! We are all blessed!

I appreciate the work that went into this film. I'm not of this faith but I do agree with many of their teachings. I enjoy church history and thankful for this documentation. I watched a show once from this group about food prep and learned how to make brown rice. I'd always had an issue with it for many years, just couldn't cook it correctly. The Sabbath is Saturday, however, it is not given to the Christians to keep. It was given to the Jews. As a Jew, Jesus kept the Sabbath. He NEVER commanded Christians to keep it. Christians began keeping the "Lord's Day," which is Sunday. Jesus Rose from the grave on a Sunday and Jesus ascended to Heaven on a Sunday. Early Christians collected tithes and broke bread together on SUNDAY. We are not going to Hell, because we keep the Lord's Day. It is good to worship Jesus everyday of the week, but for the SDA church to tell Christians who worship on Sunday that we are going to hell because of it, is completely false. Keeping the Sabbath is not the "seal of God." as SDA's state. IT is only EGW that states that. The Seal of God, is the Holy Spirit. John 6:27, 2 Timothy 2:19, Rev 6:9, 7:2 and 9:4. READ YOUR BIBLE not Ellen G White and her false teachings and false predictions. God warns us of false prophets, such as EGW, Joseph Smith, Mary Baker Eddy, etc.

A Sacrament that has salvation written all over it. Much more than a "personal relationship" it is a marriage covenant between GOD and His chosen people - "Marriage Supper of the Lamb". ***You need an altar and Catholic priest to enter that covenant relationship.***
How do all Catholics become His ONE BODY, ONE "VISIBLE" CHURCH, ONE TEMPLE OR ONE BRIDE???
"Real Presence" or Holy Eucharist Defense
1. "Pascal lamb"
In Exodus 12:3-14 GOD "forever" liturgically commands the PASSOVER as a means of proper worship. In the Passover, GOD REQUIRED the "lamb" to be consumed for "Death to Passover" (Exodus 12:3-8). Then Jesus, the "Lamb of GOD" (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:19), transforms this "forever" GOD commanded PASSOVER Feast during the "Last Supper" (in every synoptic Gospel account) into the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19). Further, in context of the PASSOVER (John 6:4) Jesus Christ's "Bread of LIFE" discourse He REQUIRES us to "abide" in His BODY and BLOOD for "Death to Passover" (John 6:54-58). ***Protestants, Jesus Christ states the consequences of not partaking of Him in John **6:53**.***
Additional John Chapter 6 Proof??? In John 6:60, everyone was disbelieving Jesus's "hard" teaching (John 6:54-58) about the Holy Eucharist. So, put yourself in Jesus's shoes how would you respond to people disbelieving you??? Wouldn't you want to provide some sort of "proof" or "evidence" you mean what you say??? How does Jesus Christ respond to His disbelievers in John 6:60 and what "proof" will He provide to them and you per John 6:62???
2. "Heavenly Manna"
GOD provided "Spiritual Food and Drink" (1 Corinthians 10:1-4) to His old covenant people, so wouldn't Jesus Christ provide something for His NEW COVENANT chosen people???
Jesus Christ compares Himself to the old covenant "Heavenly Manna" in John 6:31-35. Jesus teaches how the "Heavenly Manna" that came down "daily" will now actually be Him (John 6:51-58).
In the "Our Father" prayer Jesus Christ states "give us THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD" that actually refers to the NEW COVENANT MANNA or Jesus Christ Himself as the "BREAD OF LIFE" (John 6:35, 48, 51).
Acts 2:46. The Catholic Church has been "breaking bread (of LIFE) daily" of the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19) before the Book of Acts was even written in the mid 60's AD, all along since Jesus Christ's death in 33AD, and to this very day fulfilling Malachi 1:11 prophecy all across the world "daily"!!!
3. "HOW HE WAS MADE KNOWN TO THEM in the Breaking Bread" (Luke 24:35)
In the Luke 24:13-35 "Road to Emmaus" scriptures, there is a clear "structure" of worship being referrenced - being the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER or better known as the Catholic Mass.
In Luke 24:27, there is an opening up of the old testament Sacred Scriptures (Readings). Then, a clear explanation of how Jesus Christ fulfilled all the old covenant prophecies and covenant promises (Homily). Then, we have a "participation in" (1 Corinthians 10:16-17) the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER "breaking of bread" where the "Lamb of GOD" Jesus Christ ultimately becomes "KNOWN" to us.
Protestants, what does Jesus Christ say to you refusing to "break bread" and "become KNOWN" to Him in His ONE and ONLY "Kingdom of GOD" here on earth - being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH - per Luke 7:21-23??? Still saved???
4. "Bread of the PRESENCE"
Along with the Passover, GOD "forever" liturgically commands the "Bread of the PRESENCE" to be part of proper worship of Him in Leviticus 24:5-9.
In the old Jewish Temple, the old "Heaven and Earth" of worship, a veil seperated two main worship rooms.
In the outer room was the "Bread of the PRESENCE". A veil separated it from the inner room that was called the HOLY of HOLIES, where no one could enter but the High Priest once a year. This inner room the HOLY of HOLIES is where Jews believed God's "real presence" remained.
So, when Jesus Christ died the veil was reported to have been "torn" (Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, Luke 23:45). Thus, liturgically speaking there no longer remains any barrier between GOD'S presence and the "Bread of the PRESENCE" (Matthew 28:20).
So, if the veil was "torn" allowing GOD'S presence in the Holy of Holies to flow to the "BREAD of the PRESENCE" in the outer room of worship, then what does the Holy Eucharist or "Bread of the PRESENCE" truly become in the fulfilled NEW COVENANT FORM???
5. "ONE BREAD ONE BODY"
1 Corinthians 10:16-17. If the "many" become "ONE BODY" through "participation in" the ONE SACRIFICE of the "Lamb of GOD" Jesus Christ in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER, then how can the Holy Eucharist logically be a mere symbol as Protestants purport???
Truly, we can ONLY become ONE BODY (1 Corinthians 10:16-17, Ephesians 5:29-32), ONE FLOCK (John 10:16), ONE TEMPLE (1 Corinthians 3:17), ONE CHURCH (Ephesians 4:4-6), ONE BRIDE (2 Corinthians 11:2) through the "ONE" Jesus Christ (John 6:54-58) the "Lamb of God" (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:19) in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19).
6. "EAT AND DRINK JUDGMENT UPON OURSELVES"
1 Corinthians 11:27-29. If "partaking unworthily" is "eating and drinking JUDGMENT upon ourselves", then once again how logically can the Holy Eucharist merely be a symbol as Protestants purport???
7. Partaking of "Divinity" (John 6:55-56, 2 Peter 1:4, Catechism #460) is the only way to become a true Son or Daughter of GOD.
In the Garden of Eden man was created in the "image" and "likeness" of GOD. Through Adam and Eve's disobedience it caused us to lose our "likeness" to GOD (original sin). For how can GOD's "likeness" and goodness ever mix with sin??? (John 3:6, Romans Chapter 5) Jesus Christ is the NEW ADAM OF OBEDIENCE.
In God's beautiful salvation plan He takes a "do not partake" old Adam of disobedience and the removal of the "TREE OF LIFE" (Genesis 3:23), and completely transforms it into telling us to "partake" of the "TREE OF LIFE".
Catholics actually receive His priest, prophet and King "divinity" in the Holy Eucharist, thereby obtaining our "likeness" back if we only partake "worthily" (1 Corinthians 11:27-29). We truly become "divine" Sons and Daughters of GOD by "uniting" with Jesus Christ the NEW ADAM (Romans 5:12-21). As a result, we become a part of GOD'S NEW CREATION (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15, Ephesians 1:10, Colossians 1:15-17, 20) here on earth.
The "TREE OF LIFE" hangs above every Catholic Church altar.
8. "Thanksgiving" or Jewish Todah
In this Jewish Messianic prophecy feast the "lamb" sacrifice had to occur at the same time the "bread and wine" was consecrated. Just as the Jews believed they were "participating in" the original timeless and eternal first PASSOVER when celebrating their old covenant "forever" GOD commanded Passover (Exodus 12:14), so do we Catholics believe we are "participating in" the ONE SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ during the consecration of the bread and wine (1 Corinthians 10:16-17) in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER.
The Greek "Eucharistia" or English meaning "Thanksgiving" Feast for what Jesus Christ has done for us is the source, summit, and ultimate high point of worship in the NEW COVENANT.
9. "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" (Revelation 19:9).
Every CATHOLIC during the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER "Mass" enters the aisle and approaches the "Bridegroom" Jesus Christ the "Lamb of God" who hangs above every single Catholic altar. We see the "Bridegroom" who emptied Himself out of love for us on the cross - for His ONE and ONLY "BRIDE" - the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH.
The "right and just" response of each and every Catholic is to give all of ourselves back to Him in the "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" NEW COVENANT PASSOVER.

I was so moved by this movie the holy spirit sure gave me a more in dept look at Sister Ellen G White at first when I became a Adventist I was skeptical about Ellen White and I said why do these people esteem and uplift Ellen G White so much I never really could make a connection until I stumbled across this movie about it truly truly this woman is a prophetess sent by God I am so glad that I know the truth sister White is truly a messenger of God I was blind once but now I see thank you God for your revelation and the answer to my prayer of more understanding of the Seventh day Adventist and sister Ellen G White

You had better believe Gods written word, and see where these people went into error !! because they are teaching error, false churches do teach truth along with error, , that is why God warned us to not be deceived, and the only way to be sure we keep out faith in line with God, is to Know his written word , and believe and obey it !!1611 King James bible, if you don't have the 1611 K J bible, then you are already being led astray !!, up until recently, preachers only preached from the 1611, but after many forsook it, people are beginning to believe that all ways are right, and they are not, if you don't have a 1611 K J bible, buy one, and see what has been removed from , or added to your fake bible,

I am a Seventh-day Adventist and this, It is a great movie, a very blessed movie. A film that holds a great message to all. Actually it was related on the last Sabbaths Lesson (May 06,2023) which entitled The Judgement.

There's a SDA assembly near me, and I plan to tend on the next Sabbath. I love their teaching and their obedience in keeping the Sabbath. They are dynamic teachers.
