I’ve started these videos so you can get the most out of your Cigar Box Guitar and Shovel.
In this lesson we explore the classic Cream tune Sunshine of your love in the original key of D. We look at D 777 C 555 G 757 F 535 some vibrato and some ladders.
Please see how I play this in a band format here:
• Sunshine of your love ...
And solo with kick drum here:

THANK YOU, Uncle Mark
Frickin UA-cam always suggesting videos that are ancient. Thank God they did. I love this one! I can totally feel the mojo on my CBG with this one. I never thought I could come close to playing such a rocking song, and I am not great at it yet, but I know I will be soon....Thank you Tio!
You will be great at it. Believe it, practice, and it will happen!
Flipping awesome I played it immediately. Thank you
I'm happy you like it! bravo on your skill
You have the best instruction videos ever!
Wow, thanks!
You make it look soooo easy.
If it wasn't for arthritis I would get me a 3 string guitar.
It actually is fairly easy. I have beginner lessons on this site. Also you can use a slide and avoid using you fingers at all per say. Look at my fret less lessons as well. Best of luck

Built my 1st fretted CBG to work on the inversions, Setting the nut this weekend.
Uncle Mark, you are head and shoulders the most productive CBG instructor out there. 2 and 3 vids most every day - quite a schedule!
Not complaining, just observing. These lessons have really helped raise my CBG skills in very short order! Running hard to keep up must be part of the trick (that and practice).
Thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge with us.
Thanks a bunch
Very cool ! I was a huge cream fan back in the day. You really nailed this Mark !

I think all your lessons are great, is it possible for me to ask you a question?
Then I would like to learn "shake em on down from you" on CBG guitar.
in the manner of Samantha Fish

Hey mark do you only use lace matchbook pickups.
I use what I get, basically. I've got 2 Lace equipped CBGs, I've another with a (off brand) humbucker. I'm not a fan of Lace management. But they do make an excellent product.
