Did you notice any major receiver fitment issues with the PSA Billet Sabre in your testing? My brother just got one and the upper and lower fitment is absolutely terrible. Using the tension screw on the back take down pin causes a gap large enough for light to pass through the upper and lower.
Hi sir is the psa sabre model you have upgradable? because I saw some vids that upper and lower cannot be open because to open it you need a special tool and that does not come in the box so I'm stuck choosing between the billet and forged but I like the billet because of ambi bolt release

I have the OD green version of this gun and I have the same carry handle. I wanted to mount a sight but I was concerned about the red dot holding zero because it’s mounted to a mounted carry handle. How well does it hold zero?
The Geissele Sabres with the Fn barrel are probably the best cost to feature uppers on the market. You definitely need to swap the buffer spring to a Blue Springco and the buffer weight to an H2 to really gas the rifle properly while suppressed.
Do you have one of these rifles to say that specifically? Or are you just making statements? A lot of rifles are different, two of the same make may need different weight springs also.
@@davelpz3340 Yup I have one. The Geissele versions do not come with an adjustable gas block, which is actually something I prefer. Easiest way you can tune the rifle for suppressed shooting is swapping out the buffet spring and weight. Cheap to do also only cost around 50 bucks.

A red dot that’s qd mounted to a picatinny mount that’s mounted to a detachable carry handle that’s mounted to a receiver that already has picatinny on it seems kinda convoluted.
I tried Sandman S with e-brake and I think it is a bit too much beyond the end of the muzzle, pretty much the same weight as Nomad L w/ keymo at that point. Maybe a better option on Sandman K w/ 5.56FHCF since it performs better with more pressure.
If you’re lucky enough to get a good QC’d PSA it’ll give you around 5000 rds of heavy use before you’re breaking parts or replacing parts due to wear causing malfunctions. PSAs tend to shit the bed in high volume multiple day carbine classes. A good one for lower volume use is ok for the price.
