Three Nuns is one of my faves that - as you correctly noted - needs to be paid attention to/spend time with, not just puffed through! And also re: Washington as well as most of our forefathers, belief that politics was service to the citizens and NOT a vocation.
I love the fact that you had to mention that it was the Revolutionary War we won and if was with Britain we beat. Of course he wanted to get back to his farm. He was the largest whiskey distiller in the 13 States. We have a tradition in Oregon. Everybody prunes their rose bushes on the day, weather permitting of course. Have a great time away, Mike.

Politics is no longer about serving the country but about power and wealth. I think we had 2 people that approached (never matched) Washington's way of thinking in the last 60 years. One was ridiculed despite his brilliant achievements, and the other has been persecuted to the point of absurdity. To put it bluntly, we are screwed. Thanks for watching!
Interestingly, George III was an enthusiast about farming as well. He was often portrayed in satirical prints as a crude rustic. He probably would have preferred to live out his life like Washington did. Instead he went mad.

Can you imagine a policitican today saying "They'd rather be on their farm than rule the world" ? We need more people like Washington again.

I've been trying my hand at a Haunted Bookshop-like blend as well. I liked the first attempt, so I need to try again and see how it changes.
Boswell offers a blending kit that looks interesting; I might buy it to, first, try each tobacco type separately. Might learn something!
