Hey techDoc, I did everything until you said let's open the perfect player and nothing. I am using a first generation firestick it just upgrade to the new look. Is that why it won't open?
@@TechDoctorUK Hey TDUK, have you considered dumping this dying platform called UA-cam and moving over to LBRY. I think you can be the old TDUK and post videos like the ones you used to without navigating the bull crap youtube forces on you.
I have done every step you have in the video and I get nothing populating. When I click on a station, NATGO WILD for example...nothing shows up on the screen or preview. I then tried to download your other program for USA/UK only, downloaded the player you recommended, did the steps for the on screen menus for both USA and UK and again...nothing populates. Any suggestions???
Similiar to other posters here. Perfect Player does not open. I do not get the chance to view the log wheel ! I am using the 3rd Generation Fire Stick. Is it to do with the permissions etc.

Can you give me some ideas for a remote. Cause I'm using the Nvidia shield controller right now. So i can't add favorite or do the epg part. My remote for the shield is either dead or broke. Thanks in advance.
I tried to downloaded the player. when i try and start it. all i get is a flash and it wont start. i tried to download it a few times then deleted it. on the TechDoctor site it gave a second playler to download. think it was called trimate. this player worked great. i'm new to the firestick and so far ths is the best tv apps i've seen so far. If the techdoctor reads this message can you please check that first player and if anyone else as trouble can you let me know its not just me. thanks to TechDoctor and if anyone replys. thanks in advance

Excellent instructions. I got stuck once only incorporating the list into the Perfect Player, but managed to find it after all. One question please: when I delete the downloaded list from File Mgr on my Android TV box, does it wipe it off the system entirely? Similarly, should I decide to delete the PP, will it be gone with the list? Thank you!
When I press open after downloading USA UK file it states "No app found to handle this file". When intry to open Perfect Player it just returns to my Fire TV home screen. Ughhh!
I really like this app, I have just mainly wanted to find an app for local channels (i.e. ABC, CBS, NBS, FOX) but it's hard to ever get one of those. Locast doesn't work for me because I'm just outside of viewing range so thanks for showing this one I can't wait to try it.
@@sticky59 not good for locals but yeah it's a decent app. It's just been kinda hit and miss with some buffering issues of course it could just be my Wi-Fi connection.

July Legal playlist does not seem to have TF1 which is a French channel which is the one I want.

The problem with this is that it's very overwhelming. I prefer to use the individual apps from the play store because their much more organized.

you have to do it manually per app. Settings -- applications --- manage installs apps--- find app and click on clear cache
