James Matthews live beats 2k in everything besides gameplay imo. More customization, more modes, better clothes, can play and have a good player without spending money. If they can eliminate that clunky feel of the gameplay next year, 2k needs to watch out.
Nobody recognize that song from NBA Live 2004. I'm guessing alot of dudes weren't outside for that. I lowkey miss when current artist would either make a new song for the game or remix their current song to fit the basketball theme (Chingy - Right Thurr). Its the little things (i.e soundtrack) like this that makes a game good. Getting someone like Drake to exclusively produce a song for their game will go a mile in making it more memorable than its competitor. Those crossovers in Live look better than the left right zig zag cheese in 2k imo.

I would say if you're open minded to a new basketball game then this is the perfect time to try it. Also if you do bring a few friends along with you if you're going to play online especially or hit people in the comments.
