The hydrogen reaction is one of the old chemistry, that is combustion of hydrogen yields heat and water vapour. I remember that I've observed in my chemistry lab demonstration by my teacher. This kind of fuel is attempted 1940's in Germany. It's not new. I wish that it should become practical. Lithium pollution is dangerous than fuel. Thanks for making the awareness. One of the best content so far.
Mr. Asir is very simple and humble man, Today I met directly at Athen car, Nagercoil for New car fronx launch, He came for chief guest. Superb sir, keep it up. ❤
Hi Bros: Nice topic on advanced tech. Few points to mention: - Hydrogen cannot be produced from Air. Or rather very complicated and not practical. (Comp of air - 79% Nitrogen and ~21% Oxygen and few inert gases) - If Hydrogen needs to produced in industries, 5T of Naphtha required for 1T of Hydrogen. Lot of environmental impacts. Better to use fossil fuels. As a Refinery man, I would say most difficult to store Hydrogen in Refinery Tankages and dispatch like Diesel or Petrol. - This will be Green only if it is produced as green hydrogen from Water electrolysis. Think existing fuel cell car can be branded as GREEN energy, if we neglect recycling/disposal of worn out cells.

Congratulations to Asir sir for the excellent content. I am a researcher in the national lab working in the field of batteries and fuel cells. You have explained concepts very well. You are right Japan is the only country which is betting high on Hydrogen than batteries.
1985, I discussed a lot about 3 things, Out of 3 of my inventions, First is the Liquid Hydrogen Fuel Combustion Engine Technology.. Certainly this concept will be a Revolutionary change in the Automotive and Power Systems, and Distribution industry.. Second my innovation was Generating Electricity from Space by Installing more Solar power sub stations.. Distributing Electricity by wireless transmission to Earth.. Third Dry cleaning machine ( Instant) without water ..
Their fuel station concept is very good as well. They are saying that they will make hydrogen fuel from atmosphere in the fuel station itself and use renewable energy like wind and solar for the process.
@MotoWagon, Thanks for discussing Hydrogen powered vehicle. First let see how hydrogen is manufactured. 1) Catalytic steam reformation of methane: Nearly 80% of Hydrogen is produced by this method. That too it is produced from crude oil. Therefore even through Hydrogen powered may look clean, but it is by product of petroleum. Equivalent of using petrol. 2) Electrolysis of water: Clean energy like Wind, Solar can be used and electrolyze the water and stored the hydrogen gas, which is then liquified and supplied in gas station (California gas stations) . 3) Advanced fuel cells: Take water as fuel and turns them into hydrogen gas, which in fuel cell will combine with Air to generate electricity, which is then stored in batteries to power the vehicle. However how the water can be split into Hydrogen gas and Oxygen is really big challenge (again we need electricity to do the electrolysis) So by all means we must look for producing Green/Blue Hydrogen, that too inside the car engine and then feed the green hydrogen into its fuel cell to generate electricity, which drives the vehicle motor. Long way to Go.
The only issue now with Hydrogen fuel is that we do not have a technology to compress a large amount of hydrogen in a fuel tank . For example a normal petrol car range is 600 - 700 kms then we cannot store that amount of hydrogen in a compressed form to attain 600 - 700 kms range .
As Palm cultivation destroyed Malaysian forests, rubber and tea destroyed forests of western ghats in South India. At the same time it gave economical growth in those areas. Any new technology/business will have its own side effects. So far only the petroleum products were ruling the automobile industry, now more options are coming up, in my opinion more choices are better because some day we can move towards ecofriendly solutions to feed our requirements. Feeling so great such intellectual contents are being discussed in Tamil social media. Great work brothers! Thanks a lot, not only for the good automobile contents also for the impact your making in Tamil UA-cam audience.

Hydrogen won't be produced from air. Every oxygen plant that produces oxygen for industrial/medical purposes will have hydrogen as by product. Water is the raw material for hydrogen production.

I'm a great admirer, and I appreciate the information here. Cobalt, lithium, and graphite are the three components of a lithium battery. The greatest cobalt deposit on earth is in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Even Tesla was not immune to the criticism; their mining practice have been criticized all around the world for using child labor and immoral behavior. Lithium is primarily found in Chile, although India just discovered a significant deposit in the Himalayas. Up to 80% of a lithium ion battery can be recycled. When recycling other materials, graphite is lost. EVs are appropriate for compact automobiles and bikes. To acquire a respectable amount of range, electric trucks and buses will require a very huge battery pack. It would take as much electricity as a small city uses in a day to charge that big pack. Cars powered by hydrogen are an intriguing idea. We have been launching satellites with hydrogen-fueled rockets for a very long time. The hydrogen vehicles, according to an article I read, will resemble petrol cars. While hydrogen automobiles use hydrogen + air as their fuel, petrol cars use petrol + air. The emergence of new technologies in the consumer sector is fascinating.
Globally around 80 million metric tons of e-waste is produce and in India its around 7-9 million metric tons. Out of which only 25-30% are recycled and rest end up in landfill and are burned which in turn produce harmful gases.
When petrol cars came the same fear would have been there because during that period. Revolution and R&D will help. When cigarette was discovered they sold it by saying it is good for health but now scene yeah Vera... If they find engines running in sea water...Considering sea level increase..😅😅😅
Hydrogen is extracted from water my brother. And in order to extract hydrogen you need electricity in order to seperate hydrogen and oxygen from water. Again this electricity is produced by coal. And more or less this is a very expensive process and consumes large amount of electricity than for charging the normal ev cars. So it is completely not green and hydrogen is also expensive than petrol. It is only used as a rocket fuel. Hydrogen is a source of all energy but it is not the energy itself.
EV better than Hydrogen ... Because Ev only need 16A socket to charge which is available in most places but hydrogen needs hydrogen fuel stations and way to transport hydrogen from factories to fuel stations ... So either EVs or a car that can convert Water to hydrogen using some catalyst that splits water without electrolysis and run
I'm planning to buy a used diesel car because I become a diesel head from watching your videos. But what happens when I try to renew the FC for BS4 diesel car after 10 years which will be probably on 2025. Government will not ban these. NCR is not giving NOC for BS4 cars after it's registration expiry. Please shine some light on this.
Don't risk buying bs4 diesel.. I suggest you may postpone vehicle purchase till 2025 because there are more expected changes in roadways law by or after 2025.
@@Hermit090 I am planning to buy a car by the end of this year probably. I wanted to feel the low end torque and mileage of a diesel. But these strict law on Delhi makes me think twice and skeptical about this decision.

Listen you can think and share your thought about cold country like Canada still EV like Tesla battery is not sufficient as it’s a cold country has the battery out 100% they get on the cold full charge they can use as it’s charge On 60%. You can share some thoughts 💭
The thing about Hydrogen is, its tedious production process, storing and handling and the whole logistics and the final storage. Rightnow Hydrogen gas costs 320rs avg per kg, but ill definitely go up. But getting green hydrogen and converting the same to ev, end up witj more electricity loss than the electric car itself. Itll be interesting to see the hydrogen liquid cars but again since the hydrogen cant be used directly as fuel, we need a medium, thay might end up loosing more energy on the run than an electric car does. Again all electric cars cars has its own set of baggage thats really disturbing, lets see how it goes with hydrogen innovation

So true I don't think EV as future there are more alternate available
Hydrogen is extracted from water my brother. And in order to extract hydrogen you need electricity in order to seperate hydrogen and oxygen from water. Again this electricity is produced by coal. And more or less this is a very expensive process and consumes large amount of electricity than for charging the normal ev cars. So it is completely not green and hydrogen is also expensive than petrol. It is only used as a rocket fuel.
Hydrogen is a source of all energy but it is not the energy itself.
Bro please talk about the sodiam iron battery the future of ev battery
EV better than Hydrogen ... Because Ev only need 16A socket to charge which is available in most places but hydrogen needs hydrogen fuel stations and way to transport hydrogen from factories to fuel stations ... So either EVs or a car that can convert Water to hydrogen using some catalyst that splits water without electrolysis and run
I think you guys must consider the discussions on working mechanism of vehicles.

@@samsingh7312 then it's safe to buy a cheap second hand car (bs6 diesel).. enjoy it to your will till the government rule changes. In this way you won't be loosing much money.
I drive a VW Vento (Diesel) BS3.. will be driving it till government forcefully tells me stop.. anarchy 🔥
@@Hermit090 I'm driving enthusiast so I was looking to buy Skoda Superb or Octavia with 2.0 Diesel. The sad thing is this engine is available only with BS4 🥲

C3
Only problem with C3 is mirror adjustment....
@@nitnand6214 mirror adjustment can be done . Brezza have 4 cylinder and 1500 cc and rear AC available
@@milkysri1 driving comfort is good in c3 and 3 cylinder is also good. .minor vibration only no noise... refined only

Hi WM
What about bio diesel concept?
