Question regarding Viktor/Riven: Do you think that Runeweaver or Rune Squire is better for the deck? I noticed that you have Runeweaver in it, in any case.
I participated in the qualifier tournament but this qualifier took a very long time I couldn't follow it every 1 hour 1 game, I was already tired and fell asleep in game 7 until the end, even though I already won 5 games.
@@dkznikolaj7013 But the biggest meta counter in the history. The deck is less intuitive than your regular aggro as well. In general his lists were quite bad and he got punished by that.
When you’re comfortable on a deck you’ll usually perform better. Especially when the meta deck is something like a Nami deck which can be very difficult to pilot.
@@dkznikolaj7013 yeah seasonal is not about tiers but actual matchups, a lot of players brought this deck because it was good against both Nami and Panth.
This video was a real banger. Really love to see your competitive side while still giving the feeling of the real Snnuy. And then there is the Annie deck...
Competitive tournament is definitely my favorite runeterra content, not just the tournament matches but the preparation. The innovation and mind games that goes into it and then seeing it unfold is definitely the best part
I love your content so much, and please stay tru to yourself as much as posible, play YOUR SUNNY DECKS. I honestly play exactly like you. I only play what I like and what I know. I loved the way you approached thee tournaments with non meta decks but also refined enough for competitive play! BRILLIANT! It just makes watching you even better and more entertaining! Watching the same old meta decks is boring, But getting a few wins here and there with non tier 1 decks is so much satisfying!
Really loved your approach! Going for comfort within reason is always the best bet in my opinion, LoR is not the type of game where just getting the right deck wins you the game, it's about matchup knowledge and knowing everything about your own play. Good luck on the next run!
First off I'm proud of you for actually trying. Being in a tourny setting is stressful for sure but you made the best out of it. You reminded me of a video ProJared made not too long ago about how he got into a MTG tournament which was really cool to see despite me not knowing anything about MTG. Anyway man, you did great and I'm sure you'll learn from this experience and do better next time.
It was really interesting seeing you play competitively! I usually watch you for more casual/for fun decks, and MajinBae to see what's good for climbing, so to see you switch it up, but with your own comfort deck flair, was nice for me. I'd personally love to see more of the Riven/Viktor deck, especially with the new reforge 2 drop, as I'm a huge fan of both champs!
I can relate to this! I just joined LoR beginning of August. Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously thru you and try to determine the best (and memiest decks) around! Fiora Pantheon was something I found as well, and I also love it! It's basically my only competitive deck rn... I'm still working on the Wildcards for the others? (Lee/Akshan coming up and I'm unashamed. I wish Yi was more competitive) It was so interesting watching these seasonals from so many points of view! So many interesting perspectives and it became clear it was a polarizing meta quickly, and then I found your channel. Thanks for giving me a front row seat!
I would've completed but alas I only had one competitive deck xD I wish I could instagrind for Jhin/Annie! I'm waiting for Vayn/Kayne to propel me to victory now! It's either that or Vayn/Rumble
Awesome vid. Annie/Jhin is the kind of deck that looks like it has not that much depth, since your objective is always win before/around turn 7, but you really need to understand how to avoid the many ways that people can stale the game past it. I also totally agree with your opinion that comfort with a tool (character, deck, weapon) is usually better than to use the better tool available in games. At the long run, the better is to gain comfort with great tools tho.
Great video, one of your best ❤ As long as you make a cool video like this after the next seasonal, I don't mind how you approach it 🙂 I've played Annie Jhin quite a lot, and one thing I can say is that while being more experienced will up your winrate, a master player can't achieve dramatically higher results than an average player, simply because whether you win or lose depends almost entirely on you and your opponent's first 4-6 cards. So I'd recommend avoiding that sort of aggro deck in favour of decks where you can flex your skills, which also means you'll probably enjoy the games more.
I really loved this type of video, it's really well narrated and kept me engaged the whole video. If you enjoyed the tournament enough to play another one, I'll definitely watch again!
I thing you should be yourself about playing metadeck that you like Back in the day when im seasonal tournament im use:1.viktor zoe, 2.draven, ezreal, 3. tf, aphelios 2 of them are metadeck i like and viktor zoe are also deck that i like even if its not meta
As someone with plenty of Seasonals experience, I can safely say comfort truly is the biggest priority in making a Seasonals lineup That last-minute decision to switch to your comfort decks in Riven Viktor and Taliyah Ziggs was 100% the better (and more fun) decision compared to bringing Tier 1 decks you didn't feel right bringing Out of my five top 32 runs, I reached one bringing Kindred Lux Cithria Matron, and another with Draven Viktor, back when Viktor still had 1-cost Hexcore Upgrades All five of those runs I brought Sivir Akshan, my favorite deck All of the times I didn't bring Sivir Akshan, I didn't make it to top cut Comfort is king, and I can only hope to one day see Snnuy jamming Timebomb Printer at the Top 32 in Seasonals That sounds like top tier content
