Mixed Media Morsels videos in 2020, will consist of altering a checkbook register, and using it as the pages in a small handmade journal. We will create one page spread per month and I will provide a motivational quote to include on the pages. I hope you will play along with me, creating your own art journal pages in a mini travelers notebook-style! I really like the background colors, so cheerful. After watching your page 2 video, I remembered I had a checkbook ledger from 1998 that had never been used. Love this!! Amazing talent you have, Cat!! And I have that set of brushes...I keep each one in a separate little baggie, so then I only use one brush for that particular color. I love those brushes. Another UA-camr suggested them. I never liked the make up sponges, they always seem to crumble and leave bits.
Yeah, they do tend to fall apart after awhile...

I got my brushes from dollar store.they have 3 different sizes
Those are my favorite 3 colors to use, i love this mini journal idea, specially using the check book which i never use for balancing 😃 is there a video on how you created the journal cover?

I saw this post online, so I gave it a try I was wondering why my pages curled up
If you use wet glue your papers will curl and warp more. I have found that using a glue stick helps keep the curling to a minimum. 😊
@@CatHand I use a glue stick, it happens when I try to paint on the checkbook pages and I don't have very much paint on my brush
Anything wet will change the fibers in the paper and cause it to warp. I just try to curl it in the opposite direction when that happens.
