- The wife is definitely not ashamed to ride it she absolutely loves it and I think it's awesome, It's definitely not my style or something I would ride but if someone likes them I have no issues with it ride what makes you happy 👍👍

The only thing holding me back from buying a Spyder when I got back to riding after being paralyzed, was the Spyder was only foot brakes. 😎👍
@@northbysoutheast5439 that's what I didn't understand about I figured it would have a handbrake also but the foot brake operates all three wheels I would feel much better about it if it had a handbrake also , Thanks for watching and commenting much appreciated 👍👍

Tell the wife congratulations on the Spyder. Looks nice. I would ride one but I would need a hand brake conversion on it. I checked a 23 F3 about a month ago. Good video. You all be safe

Nice addition, for a three wheeler I would like to have an addition added to the bike from Tilting Motor works. Makes it into a reverse trike that has the capability to lean into the tuns like a two wheeler 🙂

I'm really glad your wife loves it! 🎉🎉🎉 I'm on my 2nd one... My first one has 79,000 miles on it. People can talk all the smack they want to. 😂 I've been in 49 states on mine... Gonna do it again with my new one I hope! And I'm thankful to have the option because wind therapy is wind therapy. TommyG, my hubby, rode his HD in those same 49 states. And guess what? He is also a Spyder fan. And he's not afraid to ride a Spyder and lead a group ride that included Spyders and Harleys across the Back of the Dragon. 😂
Thank you and she does really love it, no one should be ashamed of what they ride, I always say ride what makes you happy , I will ride with anyone no matter what they ride , We have a Harley Davidson Road King and Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 and now the wife has the Can-Am Spyder 👍👍, Thanks for watching and commenting very much appreciated 👍👍

As someone who suffers back pain, I had to choose between walking or riding. I chose walking, and sold my Harley Sportster 1200. My only real future option is something like the Can Am Spyder or a bike with a side car.

We sold an electra glide, and went with a can am spyder rt ltd...it was ok for a couple of years riding 2 up. But like yourself, not my cup of tea, so im back on 2 wheels ( and loving it! ) ours was a 12 also, it ran good! Used "ride on" to balance the front tires, smooth like butter!

Nothing wrong with buying used. My first one was a year old with 3600 miles on it. This year I bought a leftover 2023.

Right now we are doing the same. Brought my wife a Spyder RTL, sold her HD, and I ride my Indidan Challenger Elite but....I'm probably going to get a Spyder as well and keep the Indian. The Spyders are a lot of fun. lol...

Hi yep for sure but like to try both trike and can am back to back but Here in uk takeing away filtering would be a pain sometimes here hope your good lady has lots of fun ride safe guys

I rode a 2022 Can Am spyder RT-l for 11 months (14440 miles ) and it was the worse 11 months of my life. #1 complaint is they are HOT 5 minutes and I would be soaked in sweat. the handling is sub-par I spent $$$$ on sway bar/shocks/ tires nothing helped the handling. I thought I could get use to it but after my trip to Maine last july I could not get rid of it fast enough , I even tried to trade it in at 2 Harley dealers in Maine and neither wanted it. I'll also be honest and tell you I took a HUGE BEATING when I dumped it but I'm back on a Harley and 2 wheels and my wife and I could not be happier.

@@JRBACZYKeverything is expensive but they are less expensive than a HD trike...🤷♀️😄...I love mine! They are FAST😅. Tommy G and I compared maintenance costs over 5 years... He has a HD Ultra Limited... Guess who spent several thousand less on maintenance and repairs? 🙋♀️🙋♀️

It doesnt give the same feeling as a motorcycle , so no not interested ... There for people lacking in skills to ride a bike and not really any safer ... Cheers

@@JRBACZYK i came out of the erea of cool ass volkwagon and harley trikes. I wouldnt ride a hopped up jazzy either( harley tri glide) unless i was missing limbs and had no opption. You my as well get a rag roof. Ive got lung cancer, heart failue and my liver is dead as a consaqunce. But im still ridding my old harley every time i feel well enough to leave the house.
I wouldn't be caught dead riding that. Trikes, conventional or reverse are for kidergartene
