That's the saddest thing I've heard I've tried taking the easy way out on many occasions I just did 9.5 months in a hospital on suicide watch to get better. I don't care who you are talk to some one anyone even a random person on the street. Wether you help yourself or a random a life saved is all we need

I've fought most of my life with depression and sucidal tendencies. I attempted suicide when I was 19 and sent about 6 months in a mental hospital. Even now I struggle with thought of suicide but my kids keep me going.
I remember when this song first came out. It's still as powerful. This and Let It Out by Staind are songs that give me an escape.
Depression is one of the easiest things to miss as it's one of the easiest things to hide. Paint on a smile and act like everything's okay. Sometimes the reality is, the war inside your head has kept you awake for days.
I haven't listened to enough songs by Good Charlotte so will be listening to more :)
Good Charlotte is a great band! I recommend! Of course it's more relatable when you are teenager, but still it's amazing songs itself, and can be relatable in every age. They almost have no bad songs, I recommend "We Believe", "Lifestyles Of The Rich & Famous"(very fun song 🤟), "Chronicles Of Life & Death", "S.O.S." and more more. Nice reaction as always!

This song helped save my life several years ago still kicking it and going strong today
This song was written in response to all the letters Joel would get from fans. He would stay up all night reading them and thinking about this. He couldnt reply individually so he came up with this song. There's also a more upbeat version of it on a later album called march on.
I felt that guilt where i thought it was me that wasn't good enough, interesting enough etc for my dad to choose me. I came across the song hey dad from good charlotte and it clicked that it wasn't my fault at all, it was his. He had his demons to fight with and dreams to chase and he made that choice and he had to live with that. He admitted his regret on is death bed but by then 20 years had past. He missed out on the most important years of our lives. And we turned out ok. I have often wondered if my life wouldve been better with him in it, but i think that's a more romanticized version of reality cuz as an adult looking back, it may have welll made my life a whole lot worse.... but yeah i get the wondering.
Great reaction man.. you should do “Emotionless” by Good Charlotte if you ever get a chance, it’s an emotional song about Joel and Benji’s (the 2 main songwriters) relationship with their father
